QUOTE(' or 1=1 -- @ Sep 24 2008, 12:31 PM) fisheyeeee although i love it but i think it's way out of my budget. even the sigma, i won't be able to get it until probably by the end of this year. that and skyports. after that, wait half a year before splurging again on my expensive hobby. hehehe!! I'd say get Nikkor optic. It's way sharper than other version fish eye lens. Seriously

I didn't test out the fisheye MF extensively cause seriously I didn't have the time to slowly test lens and let photo opportunities slip by during the trip. I just left my D40X in the hotel room, grabbed the D300 and went out to enjoy myself. Sorry if I'm not able to verify Ken Rockwell's statement.

I am able to verify that if you set to infinity, its quite easy. Just watch out for the green dot. And unlike macro, the green dot is doesn't flicker So the moment u see the green dot, click!

haha ill still spam here. Like how I still spam the D300 thread And I still think the D40 is a fantastic camera. If the price for the D90 is not so tempting, I wouldn't have upgraded. Anyway, no D90 for me yet. No stock

QUOTE(KTCY @ Sep 23 2008, 11:21 AM) Wedding need low light. Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 QUOTE(darthbaboon @ Sep 23 2008, 11:26 AM) I'll second that. If you are an official Wedding Photographer your distance from the couple would be at arm's length so you don't need such a telephoto range. Thanks for the advice… today I just brought the lens…… love it so so much… great lens . Here is my first shot using the lens » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Camera Model - D40Lens - Tamron 17-50 f/2.8Aperture - f2.8 Shutter Speed - 1/1000s ISO - 1600

17-50mm f/2.8, a famous sharp lens, but sometimes the color can be a little bit warm..
why u use ISO 1600 with exposure time 1/1000 ??
