ultimately, whatever product or brand that you buy, it's the service that's provided which determines customer loyalty smile.gif go for brands that can commit to a certain level of service

@yothim, try putting the fan on slowest speed, then try see which blade is drooping the lowest. Bend that blade upwards a bit (not too much that'll deform/break the blade..) & see if it's not swaying so badly as compared to earlier...
Sensa 5 is plastic blades right? I'm not sure how will this go as I did it on a 4-blade metal blade fan some years ago...

Hope this helps.

Just to share with you all my experience recently.

I purchase 6 KDK Fans, 4 Heaters, 30 downlights and 20 LED lights from YT Lighting Puchong recently, and they deliver the box to my house. The quantity is correct therefore I accept the Fans delivered.

When my contractor open up the box, we realize the one of the Fan come without the cover. I called to YT Lighting to get a replacement, but was rejected as they claimed I accepted the goods when delivered. ^&&$^%*(. Will you open up every single box and inspect every items during delivery???

Lesson learnt, you must check every single items in the box, when purchase from those lighing shop, especially this YT Lighting. Else, you end up like me, fan without cover. Now I will go direct to KDK, hopefully KDK will be reasonable on this....

me too wanna share my experience with remote controlled fans.

i have been using 2 remote ctrl'd fans, one is Panasonic 4 blade 3 speed, the other is Elmark 5 blades.

I have been using both every day, Elmark at living hall & the Panasonic at bedroom - since end 2006 since i moved to this house.

End 2009, the Elmark got problem with speed selection, only can select one speed. Call Elmark to repair, changed small part with remote receiver. Abt RM80.

Recently this month the Panasonic also have same problem, when i open the fan cover i only see a big size circuit board. Guess need to change the whole board. Dunno how much it cost ?

Guess Elmark less reliable (electronics parts) compared to Pana.

In the future, i will not buy remote ctrled fan, the remote receiver (not the remote ctrl) is prone to failure.

My other 'manual' ceiling fan (3x) is still OK after similar period & usage.

thanks for the advice and sadly it is a plastic blad... sad.gif it wobble a bit but not sure if this is normal or what cos my aunt normal kdk remote fan also having this problem......but....my alpha baby fan is damn steady even at full speed. see how la, since it is under warranty, better that we let the expert check...else warranty void....sien.

yeah, the problem with the shop is whenever u wan that product, they will take it out, open and pass u the warranty card, then they put the stuff near the door. ppl coming in and out can sure take some parts. but since only one......hope u can claim it back from kdk but .....no offence.....even if i'm the boss at yt........i would not give u the stuff since we do not know who is genuine. but for ur case......it is hard to check one by one..............so........just take it as an unlucky experience

the manual one has been around for ages and there is always a replacement for it unlike the remote. but of course, everything is 'risky'........but since the price of fan is cheap, might be more feasible to buy a new fan instead. but 4 yrs for a fan is not really good....my family 3 speed kdk is still spinning for more than 10yrs......

Just installed Alpha fans... the 838/828 looks quite stylish but their normal regulator fans looks so plasticky and toy-ish. The regulator really looks very cheap. Having said that if you taking normal regulator fans, do go for panasonic or KDK.

But not as stylish. I thought of using Alpha since I've already experimented with Panasonic and KDK but I still think Panasonic/KDK regulator fan looks better.
