I bought my KDK fans at QQ, cheapest...but their lights are expensive...go to TopTen..lol
saw the Haiku Fan at Homedec which uses a DC Inverter motor as opposed to the standard AC motors for all other fans. My take is this - unless electricity costs are very high, and your fans undergo heavy usage, it would be tough to recover your initial fan cost from the electricity savings. Reason? There are 2 models, one made from plastic, and another from bamboo. I wasn't quoted on the bamboo model, but the plastic one was RM9xx...1 grand for a fan? Esp if I would need to buy a few for completeness? Sorry I'll pass |

Each box is not small, if you drive a small car like a Myvi, you could carry 3-4 at the most. anyway, only you know your own situation - decide wisely. |

QQ don't sell Panasonic Fans....if i recall correctly.
and Panasonic fans are cheaper than KDK fans, period. But there are some feature you can't compare apple to apple with Pana VS. KDK. p/s: the best prices for panasonic fans (remote or not) are not found near shops around Tesco Puchong. @yothim, sorry, I don't know the price of yuragi 5 blade cos I.M.H.O., it's not worth it, the 7-speed feature is just overkill. Both KDK Sensa 4 & Pana F-M14E8 is yuragi 4-blade remote with 5-speed, good enough. I personally prefer Sensa 4 is bcos it hangs onto conventional hook + it's better looking & has extra feature as compared to the panasonic model that is ball joint like baby fan.
