Don't waste your time go to a shop called TK something light shop in Pusat Bdr Puchong (opposite Tesco) to enquire about KDK fans, damn expensive!
Experienced Salesman also very snobbish!

Best price I got so far around Puchong:
1. KDK V-touch - RM450
2. KDK Sensa 4 (K14Z9), using normal ceiling hook - RM460
3. Pana F-M14E8 4-blade yuragi - RM378
4. Pana F-M14C8 Grey-Wht, 4-blade remote 3-speed - ~RM227
5. Pana F-M14D9 Wht, 5-blade remote 3-speed - ~RM260

Zencelo switches (white):
6. 4G1W - RM24.40
7. 3G1W - RM18.00
8. 2G1W - RM12.20
9. 1G1W - RM7.70
10.Air-cond/ WH sw,20A (E8431D20) - RM22.50

Feel free to PM me to discuss for the address of the shop.
Happy shopping...

I bought my KDK fans at QQ, cheapest...but their lights are expensive...go to TopTen..lol

saw the Haiku Fan at Homedec which uses a DC Inverter motor as opposed to the standard AC motors for all other fans. My take is this - unless electricity costs are very high, and your fans undergo heavy usage, it would be tough to recover your initial fan cost from the electricity savings. Reason? There are 2 models, one made from plastic, and another from bamboo. I wasn't quoted on the bamboo model, but the plastic one was RM9xx...1 grand for a fan? Esp if I would need to buy a few for completeness? Sorry I'll pass smile.gif

just bought the sensa 5, i was looking at top ten but no more stock then got it at the next door at RM560 and a Alpha baby fan (the 2 fan is the same price as Top Ten). pana yuragi 5 blade should be RM100 lesser than the KDK sensa 5....forgot cos not planning to get it. kdk....u can always go to their website to check.........but it looks a bit.....weird to me.

are you sure that you will buy sufficient quantities of the fans, such that the savings will make up for your transportation and time costs? would you still save after that? Each box is not small, if you drive a small car like a Myvi, you could carry 3-4 at the most. anyway, only you know your own situation - decide wisely.

i think it is worth it.......RM100 more expensive.....from Ayer Keroh to USJ toll is around RM15/trip and assuming the petrol usage is RM30......still can save RM40. the more he bought, the more it is worth it....else....just take it as a trip to kl while shopping since just 1.5 hrs.......jam from klang to kl also no different......

QQ don't sell Panasonic Fans....if i recall correctly.
and
Panasonic fans are cheaper than KDK fans, period.
But there are some feature you can't compare apple to apple with Pana VS. KDK.
p/s: the best prices for panasonic fans (remote or not) are not found near shops around Tesco Puchong.

@yothim, sorry, I don't know the price of yuragi 5 blade cos I.M.H.O., it's not worth it, the 7-speed feature is just overkill.
Both KDK Sensa 4 & Pana F-M14E8 is yuragi 4-blade remote with 5-speed, good enough. I personally prefer Sensa 4 is bcos it hangs onto conventional hook + it's better looking & has extra feature as compared to the panasonic model that is ball joint like baby fan.

avoid Elmark.
Deka is OK.
no comment on Alpha as having none of it

?? i bought it for RM560, i got it cos i need it for the 'wide' coverage as i cant hook a fan to other other living room (pray that it can reach there).......fyi, the pana is rm100 cheaper as it does not have sensor and also the LED lamp. other than that.....i prefer the kdk ones more. i got the kdk sensa as i do not like the idea of cutting the joints...since sensa has the shortest joint, that is why i got it....7 speed......i am more towards the blade length...60inch.
