it would have been a lot nicer if you chose a white base downlight.. Household [Home-Applicances] Ceiling Fan, KDK, Panasonic, Euro Uno, Mistral

Just bought Yuragi Junior (4blades) for RM370 + RM25 for replacing my old fan.
I wanted to test it before buying one but none of their showroom has one installed for reference. Its very silent and stable (very subtle vibration) compared to the old 5speed KDK with manual control. However, at max speed, I think KDK is much faster. I think Yuragi is a good option for night time or rainy day but for a hot day like today, fuh, I really wish it could be faster. Perhaps the distance of the fan from the ceiling affected the wind strength. After few days of using it, I find that these fan has wider reach than normal 3 blades fan. It does seem like the further from the fan, it felt really good. The center which was a very cool with the 3 blades now become so-so only. Yuragi works perfectly at night and the alternating speed really make it more comfortable to sleep even without clothing. Does not gets too cold. QUOTE(waja2002 @ Mar 12 2010, 10:42 PM) Added on March 12, 2010, 10:49 pm i've used wings brand, dunno which model, but got 5 blades, 3 speed remote w remote control, after 4 yrs the speed cannot set/adjust anymore.. dunno wat problem.. but my kdk 3 blades (regulator) surprisingly still ok until now.. no prob.. so if want to buy i would recommend kdk... And I need to pay RM60 for each electronic replacement, and I need to give them back the old electronic part. I asked him why need to give back the old part, he says it is their company policy. WTF!!! In the end, I only replaced 1 fan and decided not to replace the rest. Lets just say, I will NEVER ever buy a Wing fan again. |

QUOTE(c0untryman @ Mar 7 2011, 05:30 PM) I have exactly the same problem with the Wing fans. Out of 8 units, 7 had the problem with the speed control (no LOW or MEDIUM control, only HIGH). I called up Wing and they sent a technician. He said that he needed to replace the electronic portion of all the fans (before he even check or take a look at a single fan). wow.. 7 out of 8... thats really bad..And I need to pay RM60 for each electronic replacement, and I need to give them back the old electronic part. I asked him why need to give back the old part, he says it is their company policy. WTF!!! In the end, I only replaced 1 fan and decided not to replace the rest. Lets just say, I will NEVER ever buy a Wing fan again. thats y people keep saying, better buy the more expensive ones (KDK/Panasonic) which are reliable than those cheaper ones which are tend to spoil easily.. I had bad experience with Euro.. 1 year then GG.... |
