Hello, any advise/recommend for ceiling height 8.5 ft ?? VERY LOW

For room, i know there are option like KDK baby fan, but how about living room??

contractor says best not exceed 8 inches.

anyone know where to buy (2 feet) down rod for the deka fan? i need to buy 7 down rod as my house ceiling height is around 12-13 feet.

Based on my recent surveys, common baby fan is 40"-42". For those around 20" you have to get Alpha or NSB designer fans which cost a bomb.

my KDK KY143 ceiling fan not moving edy...any idea get who to repair it?.. icon_question.gif
Last time the National brand fan all can last more than 20 years one...lol

2 x KDK K11Z1-ES @ RM315/pc
2 x Panasonic F-M14E2 @ RM384/pc

found out
KDK K11Z1 = Panasonic F-M12D2 (but pana is 1200mm, kdk is 1100mm)
KDK K14Y2 = Panasonic F-M14E2

so which one...alpha vs elmark vs deka....hehe ...kdk and panasonic out of topics since it renowned brand....

let compare
1. waranty = same all 3 years motor onli...
2. wind =
3. lasting =
4. fast problem for remote @ remote sensor =

so far as i have read problem with the remote or the remote sensor...motor some have problem some is fine just the remote@sensor not func...


so any hands on experience like to sum up...

it wud help me and other as well to buy a fans on this hot climate now... rclxms.gif

If you want reliable, go for KDK or Panasonic. Want fancy and decorate, than deka or alpha.

yeap KDK quite reputable..was thinking of going for those fans with lighting pre attached lol save space n pretty minimalist =)
anyone know the price range and where i can view a haiku fan?
