I just installed Deka Sfera Q7 ceiling fan. What I want to ask, is it normal for the fan to have a mechanical "click" sound when I change the speed, say from 1 to 2? Thanks!

QUOTE(jhlou @ Apr 13 2011, 02:56 PM) Update on Elmark: From what I gathered from mutilple forums in MY or SG, it is either remote control or remote receiver on fan itself which is spolit. I called Elmark distributor and managed to ask them about service pricing. On-site inspection: RM35 Remote control : RM55 Remote receiver : RM50 All 3 of my Elmark Fan Remote Controls are spoilt! I'm never going to buy Elmarkagain. I plan to replace them with KDK. This post has been edited by creativ: Jun 2 2013, 10:16 AM

Mine wobbles slightly, partly due to the longer metal rod, so any slight imbalance is amplified. When I see the shop's fan that is the same model, it also wobbles slightly and it has been switched on for several months for >10 hours a day very day. So I'm not very concerned since the shop's fan is looking fine.

My ceiling height 2900mm (9.7ft), I installed normal fan, you can see from photo. I don't know about you, but I feel it's acceptable, I'm average height 1.72m, can't touch the fan unless you jump la.
