is it ok to run my psp fw V5.00 M33 on ps3 to play?
will it brick the system?

hey i just installed new HDD. (320g) after doing the restore i only got 260 gig. i was shocked. hmmm. i know only around 300gig is available usually on a 320 gig drive. but yeah. my backup from my old drive was only 15 gig. so im wondering where the other 25 gig went... strange. anyway to check?

brick which system? ps3 or psp?

my 3.71-4 psp can do remote play with no problem to 2.60 ps3

brick either of the systems. just wanna check before i try it out. u know better safe than sorry
btw any recommendation on what to do with PSP on PS3?
any new features or games i should check out (by downloading games to PSP from PS3)?

thanks vorchiel. but on my old hdd. 40g. i had 25 gig free.... strange. or is it in reality a 60gig drive?

to use psn / demo download / psn games on psp, i dont really know because i left the scene for quite a long time
i only use remote play nowadays to stream movies to the psp.
other than that, i think you have to wait for others to reply

maybe it has something to do with the proprietary ps3 filesystem / os cache / whatever.

hahahah. oh well. 250g is still a lot anyways. you know when we play music on the ps3 and it got the screensaver of the world. do you know if PS make any that can be DL or is it just this one earth one. ?

It says

No DVI. So I'm not sure. Even if it can play ps3, analog RGB won't look as good as DVI.

Go for BenQ 22"E2200HD for FULL HD and with HDMI, it is worth for every sen, only RM610,

Can i watch DIVX format videos on the PS3???

i usually download movies, set them in the video folder.

when i view its there, when i press play. a sign says it wont support divx video.

it supports some types of divx videos and some it doesnt. have you done the latest FW update?

the 2.60 update supposedly made the then-unsupported divx 3 videos to be playable now.

im downloading the latest 2.6 version now.

if not mistaken just released yesterday, 21Jan?

But i thought the previous update enable divx playback.

divx has several profiles/versions/standards

2.60 specifically include updates to enable playback of the old divx 3 videos
