wat, now can buy just the console without games??? i bought mine end of december, at RM 1899 with 2 games which i hardly play....

shud have waited for the white, with model CECHL06/CW, as they are the newer variation with smaller gpu size, which means less heat....

Every MY PS3 unit is already using the 65nm variation die process for the Cell and RSX.
So you're fine there.

Smaller chips also mean less heatsinks, and no heatpipes. No doubt it still does run cooler than the previous 65nm/90nm models.

not worth to spend RM300 for 160G model, for that amount fo money u can get urself 320G HDD and DIY it from 80G.

i think sonystyle is a little bit cheap... game shop is selling console only at around RM1620-RM1650 while sonystyle is selling for RM1599...

just got the ceremic white from sonystyle the curve. it's the last one too yay ~! i have to agree that sonystyle is an excellent deal free membership(rm34 discount on next purchase) + controller pouch (even tho i think it's useless)

hm i am planning to connect my ps3 to my computer speaker, whats the cable called? optical out to 3.5mm? Anyone know where to buy around subang? i tried two diy shops and cant find any.

I think it's called RCA female to 3.5mm female.

If you can't find that get;
RCA coupler(rca female to female), then get RCA male to 3.5mm female. I think these cables are easier to find.
