anyone can share the picture of house after reno? thinking of doing open kitchen...any advice?

Hi, Are we allowed to knock the kicthen wall ? Will the management bising or cause any structure damages anot?

Anyone interest to install plaster ceiling...My friend have intro one to me ...he is the one who i feel pro and satisfied...important is the price reasonable..if u need it, just pm me and you can compare the price first before make decision..hehe

What level u are? Mine at level 8. They just changed the crack tiles only. They never level those tiles that I gave in list. 
Mine still pending wall crack, toilet glass door, and the door to yard still unable open.
Tomorrow will go wipe the tiles with water to see all the tiles look good or not.
Dunno when only can start renovation...

Just come back from my unit and feel super super angry now.

When the time collect the house key, we need pay 4 month maintenance fees, even defect not yet start and 101% confirm that we cant move in but they still require us to pay this so call maintenance fees.

After get the CF and plan to start renovation, we also need to pay RM200 for sub-charge and this sub-charge depend what type of renovation you did on your unit. They just mention, this sub-charge will help us clean the place and repair the lift( I also feel funny after heard  this kind of reason)
During the renovation time, my contractor need to throw the rubbish where on P1 floor, but the Taipan rubbish sub-contractor need me to pay RM100 and only allow me throw the rubbish , else please ask ur contractor bring back the rubbish and settle yourself.

This kind of developer feel all the buyer is come from kampung and easy to cheat, always ask us to pay money but when ask them finish my defect and keep delay and delay!!!!!

Please think careful before your units start to renovation!!!!

hahaha...ya have to do plaster ceiling to cover those piping.....but i didnt cover the beam cos i saw few unit that plaster ceiling cover the beam look really low..... 
master bedroom latout really suck  ......is a waste if not it will look really big....
yup the corridor is wet when raining and 1st floor flood too  .....a bit la....hehe.....light?? do they got light at corridor??
wah....mid nov soon ler....so nice......ya modern city is not bad but i didnt give to them cos manage to find cheaper than them.....budget tight.... 
13th floor contractor price a little expensive but dont like his workmanship......

30k? not so high gua... my one knocked the wall in kitchen, plaster ceiling ( except all bedrooms), kitchen cabinet, master bedroom wardrobe, grill for all window , main entrance and balcony, add power point / switches, add a sliding door in kitchen, full house wiring, the contractor free a sliding window for my yard. If never include those wiring / aircon / power point and swithes below 20k can get.

Why do we need to pay 1,200?

For renovation we need to pay rm1200(big reno) 200 for donno what fee. 1000 deposit. And if u planning to do reno make sure ur contractor include throw rubbish if not Mr Wong aka rubbish man will charge u depend how big ur rubbish if u throw at his rubbish bin beside parking. He charge from 100-300.

Strongly agreed with you and ravarz. The developer designer really stupid. Mine 1 oso 1143sqf. facing same proble, -- a lot pipe at kitchen side. Starting no intention to do plaster at kitchen but finally decide to do it want to cover those ugly piping. Knock the kitchen wall oso and doing a sliding door to seperate the kitchn and yard.

About the power point, the developer just simply put and i have to changed all. Dining area so many beam. I really never see such design and be found in the medium cost condo.  Tis come from brainless designer. Master bedroom layout oso too bad. Wat for they create so many window in bedroom?

During raining especially these few weeks, found the corridor wet at all and it is very serious. Also found the corridor quite dark while late evening but not sure what time they switch on the corridor light.

My renovation should be completed by mid Nov. Hope can move in by end year. Anybody looking contractor can try contact Modern City. Sample house at second floor. Price quite reasonable. I asked 5 people quoted and finally choose them. Can look for Joseph Mah. Feel their service not bad include Jason and Kent.

Our law states clearly that pets are not allowed to be kept above ground level as far as I recall.

It's also cruel to keep a pet with no land for them to run around. Please stay in landed property if you really must have pets, be it cats, fishes or a dogs. I believe there may be exceptions for 'guide dogs' which are used by the blind but it may be a grey area. Better to check with the authorities before you consider this.

Agreed to check with authorities for the pets issue.. else will be very headache .. friend been facing this type of problem and finally have to forgo the dog

Anyone knows the completion date for block A, B and C?

I can see Block A and B almost completed, but would you be able to move in even though Block C construction is still in progress?
