I just visited my unit for the first time last night to see what I was in for and to my dismay,

1. the paintjob is horrid.
2. the height of the balcony railing is grossly low(probably not up to specification like some others mentioned)
3. the size of kitchen seems way smaller than that of the showhouse. even the layout is different.
4. my front door was unlocked before I even entered the unit.
5. lighting in the corridor was insufficient.
6. lift lobbies had no tiles.
7. security is a HUMONGOUS concern with their supposed 'guards'. anyone can just ride the lift without control.
8. there is no water/electricity available in my unit.
9. guest parking is limited to 12 units.
10. Maintenance fee seems to have been increased with the following formula:
(unit size * 128sqft (parking) * RM0.16) + 10%(for sinking fund)
11. rest of the development will only be completed in 2yrs according to them so for now, we will have to risk driving in/out under the clubhouse which seems unsafe to me.

I haven't even looked at the mailbox or the common area as yet as I didn't have much time. I was only there for about 15mins. The list is very likely to be much longer......

Are you a chef? hahaha. I think 1143 sq ft should be big enough and not necessary to knock the wall to widen the kitchen 

I agree with him.....even I think for the 1143 units, we need to knock down the wall as the layout is weird.
We won't be able to get our furniture and appliances to the yard and utility room if we put in kitchen cabinets without knocking down the wall.

Wish the wall was in line with the utility room so we can put in some sliding door....and wish the kitchen tap was on the utility room side of the wall...

I was also thinking abt the open concept kitchen. can I have a look?
Yes, i agree.....the passages to the rooms are so small that I can't even push my cupboard into the bedrooms...guess i'll have to spend to build all my wardrobes although i was only planning that for master bedroom.....My budget severely limited

The aircon points oso all in weird places.....did anyone notice this? All oso must hack the wall......don't understand why they can't just put it properly in the middle......especially on the wall that has the windows/doors......why they must choose the bloody wall where it's a problem to hack and patch up again?.... i think developers purposely do this to get ppl to hire contractors to break n fix again......

Strongly agreed with you and ravarz. The developer designer really stupid. Mine 1 oso 1143sqf. facing same proble, -- a lot pipe at kitchen side. Starting no intention to do plaster at kitchen but finally decide to do it want to cover those ugly piping. Knock the kitchen wall oso and doing a sliding door to seperate the kitchn and yard.

About the power point, the developer just simply put and i have to changed all. Dining area so many beam. I really never see such design and be found in the medium cost condo.  Tis come from brainless designer. Master bedroom layout oso too bad. Wat for they create so many window in bedroom?

During raining especially these few weeks, found the corridor wet at all and it is very serious. Also found the corridor quite dark while late evening but not sure what time they switch on the corridor light.

My renovation should be completed by mid Nov. Hope can move in by end year. Anybody looking contractor can try contact Modern City. Sample house at second floor. Price quite reasonable. I asked 5 people quoted and finally choose them. Can look for Joseph Mah. Feel their service not bad include Jason and Kent.

30k? not so high gua... my one knocked the wall in kitchen, plaster ceiling ( except all bedrooms), kitchen cabinet, master bedroom wardrobe, grill for all window , main entrance and balcony, add power point / switches, add a sliding door in kitchen, full house wiring, the contractor free a sliding window for my yard. If never include those wiring / aircon / power point and swithes below 20k can get.
