Sealantis is the official dealer for scubapro. They should have the fins you are looking for.
If not mistaken, someone also mentioned scuba symphony carry scubapro jet fins. Try search this thread and see.

Planning a budget trip to KK over the CNY break. Any dive centers/sites to suggest? Most probably will be doing this trip alone. Most buddy pantang/busy for diving during CNY. As for me, if this trip goes then it will be the first CNY away from my family. brows.gif

Scuba Symphony and Scuba Dynamics have fins but they are parallel importer. If you don't mine, no probs.

Im not too sure about the exact price for OWD but i dont think it would be very much different.

Of course, if you dive at 5 stars location as compared to 3 stars location, your accommodation budget should go up.

Getting a good instructor should be your priority.

Hi Guys.

Looking for a partner for OW License as most places books twin sharing rooms.
Doing it at Seamonkey in PJ with promotional rate. Only catch is we need to finish it by 31st March. Was thinking of extending another day for extra dives. so total is 4day 3 nights at Redang. Anyone interested please PM me and I shall share more details.

I took my OWD in Perhentian with Flora Bay Divers. My Instructor is Mat Yie. Made life long friends there. We still make it a point to go back there to see our old instructor at least once a season. smile.gif

Awesome fella. Superb UW Photographer too..

I visited one of the dive shops in KL recently and their products are definitely over-priced.
That sounds ok, it is business right - FYI price is up by 40% than normal in other countries (the 40% different is sufficient to cover my flight ticket, accommodation and food for a night stay)

But the worse thing is one of the staffs continuously gave misleading information about the products.
This I think is unacceptable and I will report this to ttpm if I experience the same thing again from this dive shop ( I doubt I will ever visit them again)

One advice - be careful ... lol

For beginner, just get any compact and the ori housing. You'll have to have good buoyancy to take nice pictures. Don't think about taking the DSLR underwater, it's too much of a hassle. Damn heavy also. Unless you really into it next time, then invest in it. You can try borrow other ppl camera if they have and try it out.

My first camera was Canon G9 with Canon housing. Now using Canon S95 with Canon housing. Planning to get G15, maybe Ikelite housing.
No strobe yet but might get one for better photo quality.

Owh. Ok tq munkey.. My initial plan was to change to smaller camera, easier to carry to everywhere. But hey.. Why not kill 2 bird with 1 stone? Hehee
