i'm charged for these:..

Package Value-Prorate : RM6.80
Package Value : RM68

Total RM 84.80 ( including RM10 STAMP)

hello, can anyone explain briefly what is the PRORATE charge for? according to the girl, i only have to pay RM68 monthly when i subscribe.. she didn't tell me anything about these charges..

the girl at the counter told me "You can use your Celcom Broadband within 4 hours"
I subscribe on 08/07/08(paid RM68 upfront) , but my billing starts on 18/07/08 , from 15/07/08-17/07/08 PRORATE = RM6.80 (WTF!!! do i have to pay this??)


hopefully, someone can answer my question. i really got no clue.. all of sudden, i have to pay RM 6.80 for nothing..

i started using on 09/07/08 , on 15/07/08 - i got capped to 64kbps because of heavy usage in the previous week, what i don't understand is why do they charge me RM6.80 prorate????

i've check the terms, it only says that customer shall be responsible for the ONE-TIME-STAMP charges. nothing about prorate is mentioned.

hopefully someone can enlighten me on this.

Prorate charge just for 1st month bill only.
Thats means u paid upfront RM68 for billing start 18/07/2008 until 17/08/2008.
Now ur 2nd bill u received u must pay RM68 for billing start 18/08/2008 until 17/09/2008.
About RM6.80 charge, that charge from 9/07/2008 until 17/07/2008 u start active rite.
But they just mention 15/07/2008 until 17/07/2008 (3 days).
U can calculated RM68/30 days = RM2.26/day.
Prorate charge RM2.26 x 3 days = RM6.80.
And for another days from 9/07/2008 until 14/07/2008 = 5 days is FREEEE of charge.
I hope u understand how the Celcom billing system.

They charge me Rm19.xx. But that one was charge for the usage that i use before my 'free' bill start.

So 1st bill i need to pay only 19 ringgit.

I'm getting GPRS connection now... Area: Samajaya Free Trade zone.

Hi everyone, i just subscribed to celcom D98 plan, which come with the Blue Cube modem
But i encounter this problem. Everyone look at this :

Soon after this thing occur, the connection will be disconnected soon.

It occur around half and hour after i get connected and out of 10 times, there will be around 3-4 times
However if it is not disconnected, here's my speed:

Is it my modem problem? i tried to uninstall and reinstall many times but same thing happen over and over.

Last time I subcribed on 1-12-07 and its free until 8-12-07 then they start charging RM68 from 8-12-07 to 7-1-08 and another RM68 from 8-1-08 to 7-2-08. Total RM138 on the second bill dated 8-1-08. (Only RM136 without stamp duty)
The first bill on 8-12-07 (RM0 without stamp duty too)
Just enquiry, is the government reinforcing back the RM10 stamp duty this year? No stamp duty for last year?

hi guys.. im new user of d68 plan.. i hv one question, my hometown doesnt hv any hsdpa or 3g coverage.. which mean i can only connected using gprs.. so, will celcom charge me for using celcom gprs???

registering celcom bb at 23/8/2008 and connected at 26/8/2008..
i'm using celcom broadband D68 and use motorola v6 maxx as a modem..
currently at Ipoh and my hometown at Sungai Siput..

Does the Celcom BB block Megaupload or rapidshare ? I have try so many to download from megaupload it always say "Download Exceed Limit". Try the same link using TMNet at friends house 1st click already able to download. Anything I need to do the to enable this download. Thnx

No charge for Unlimited package. If they charge you, better report quickly to Celcom


Set on mind that Celcom broadband using SHARED IP, so means we shared among other users. We unable to download anything from Rapidshare or Megaupload using Free User, but premium account would do.

im not sure with megaupload but using rapidshare was quite fine nowadays.. previously there was some routing issue esp when u use any download accelerator on the rapidshare. but at times there are a few subnets that could not resolve the rapidshare.com. for a workaround, just disconnect and connect it again..

i am new D98 user,
just figure out today is the first day they activated my account.
i am in KL area... my hp always in 3g mode.... but when i use the celcom 3g... it seems only support 2g... and although 3g is very low signal... i signed 3.6mbps... but now even cannot load the yahoo page...
anyone experience that?

Kinda normal and to be expected of wireless BB here in Malaysia....if you peruse through older posts and threads you can see tons of gripes. Stick with wired BB if you can....
