For people who staying at Subang Jaya SS19, the speed is good/ok only during period of early morning till 2 or 3 pm. After that the speed is suck, either you will need to download a 100mb file with required the time of 4, 5 hours to complete and it will some time auto DC. mad.gif

Added on October 15, 2008, 5:14 amKeep getting .34 IP address and it so slow that it hardly reaches 200kbps on speedtest. doh.gif
Finally managed to change my IP address:

At least I'm satisfied. biggrin.gif

Hi! How to change the IP?? Try to change IP see whether it could improve the speed.
Because most of the time I always get < 380 KB/s for speed testing. Donwload is 3-7 KB/s.

Nowaday download speed is always between 3-7KB/s, it take a whole full day to complete download the file > 150 mb and this happen only when the connection is keep on receiving. The worst can be download only example 30mb or not even 1/2 of the total file size it stop downloading but check the connection is still connected. Experienced this many time. haih...... sad.gif

Do you think that your speed got capped? hmm.gif
When my speed got capped last time, I hardly achieved 10kB/s. hmm.gif

Anyway, not trying to spoil your mood. My speed is still good. biggrin.gif
Maybe you need to try my method, keep changing the IP address until you get a set of different IP address.
*
I not think so is because the speed has been capped. Yup, may be try to connect & disconnect try to change the IP address see any improvement.

there's a certain software. Just run the software and it will update the modem firmware.

Hi, thanks for reply. Can you explain in detail where is that mention firmware update software allocated?
