Typically I think only the firmware are difference between LX3 and D-Lux 4. The specs are all same. Here is the compare side-by-side.

Let me take a good guess ... sunway pyramid ...

the first pic a bit underexposed huh? : )...

and today i took pic with a small chick (yes, chick, not girl.. chick)..
and it was really hard... the room was dim, and the chick moving its head so fast and keeping running around...
i was using manual... and trying to make some bokeh effect with macro shoot... so i had to face the camera 1cm to the chick...
and the chick jump on the top of my camera!!! phew.. fortunately it didnt peck on the len...

but then we moved it to living room, which is brighter... and someone holding it...
it was something new... good fun...

will upload those photo soon..

hehe... 2day i jus sold an lx3 for RM1650
with 4gb sdhc, screen protector n lens filter

actually the lens filter can get at most camera shops.....
ermmm... try CamWorld, or Fotokem....

u can get those lens filter(poloroid or UV) or crystal lens filter.
or ther's screen protectors for the lens of lx3. round one...
functions jus like ur screen protector.

nice b&w! what is the setting for contrast and saturation? did u change it?

i'm Lumix FX8 user, currently looking to a better digicam. Saw LX-3 photo quality real impressive! i'm noob to photography but starts to love it. Between LX-3 & entry level DSLR, any recommedation? i like taking macro details but FX08 doesnt seem sharp enuf.
