hi everyone, Im so into LX3 at the moment eventhough i haven't got one yet... been reading heaps of reviews, opinions and even analysing those photo in flickr took by LX3.. haha
I'm a novice user in photography, and very keen to learn now... Just a question about the capabilities of LX3... Can it produces good "bokeh" effect? the one with blurry background... thx |

Do you think LX3 willl be able to use the following accessories?
Ebay Page  I found the adaptor for LX3... I am aware that LX3 come with a joystick that control the menu navigation...
I had have a nightmare with small joystick (sony ericsson k750i.... totally drove me insane!)... Is that a good joystick? anyone have any problem with it yet? any slow response behavior? thanks! |

I got my camera 2 weeks ago... : )...
After 2 weeks of intensive reading and testing about photography and these are the results:  M F2.1 1/15 ISO80  M F4.0 1/320 ISO100 + Flash (half blocked with finger.. lol)  M F4.5 1/200 ISO100  M Std B&W F2.5 1/200 ISO200 Contrast +1  P F2.0 1/25 ISO200  M F2.1 1/200 ISO80  M F6.3 1/200 ISO200  iA F3.5 1/400 ISO80  S F2.0 1/25 ISO200  M F4.0 1/1300 ISO80 Still need to practice a lot with the settings.. : /... and gonna explore melbourne city with my LX3 soon! and can't wait for my adaptor and filters! more on My Flickr Page This post has been edited by kevin7ae: Oct 24 2008, 09:19 PM |

the first pic a bit underexposed huh? : )...
and today i took pic with a small chick (yes, chick, not girl.. chick).. and it was really hard... the room was dim, and the chick moving its head so fast and keeping running around... i was using manual... and trying to make some bokeh effect with macro shoot... so i had to face the camera 1cm to the chick... and the chick jump on the top of my camera!!! phew.. fortunately it didnt peck on the len... but then we moved it to living room, which is brighter... and someone holding it... it was something new... good fun... will upload those photo soon.. I was so surprise today... my got my adaptors and filters on my doorstep.. it was a fast delivery..
 2 len caps, 3 filters, 1 step up ring (46mm-52mm), 1 46mm adaptor, 1 panny original 52mm adaptor    the reason why I have 2 adaptors and 2 lens cap is... the filters are actually come with it... and I bought an adaptor before I found the filters.. sigh... can't wait to test those filters! and here you go.. chick and random photo of the day.. : )  M F3.5 1/1000 STD  M F2.0 1/100 STD  M F2.0 1/60 STD  M F8.0 1/250 STDB&W  M F2.0 1/6 STD more on My Flickr I luv my lx3! add me to the list please... yes.. get the filter package.. and u will get the panasonic's adaptor 52mm + a lens cap (that lens cap can't attach a string though)...
I can't wait to test it.. but i have to work.. : ( will tell u if it's worth buying... reading about polarizer and filter usage... haha... wanna know more before using it... my reading: http://www.great-landscape-photography.com...ing-filter.html http://www.colorado.edu/physics/2000/polar...rizationII.html http://www.shooter.net/index.php/Item/using-a-polarizer/ apparently, we need to rotate the filter to adjust the right angle to get the most out of the PL filter... hmm.. interesting! and the "handgun" hand symbol to find the right sun direction is kinda cool...
