chris11, if you already have a G1 (which btw is already very portable for a dSLR), then i think no point to get an LX3, which is not exactly that portable.

Plus you got a tight budget, so i think better if you go for FX38. It's got a wide 25mm lense, comes in a small package and should cost you around rm1000.

Btw Zeeker, i feel regret nvr buy your LX3... haha...I might just go for the silver now.

Hi guys. Anyone here try shooting fire? I can't seem to get any good picture of fire. Always overexpose. If I use a faster shuttle speed, there won't be enough light coming in. Any idea?

And reading the review, i was like WTF ? It says the nikon and canon has better image quality, among other things la.

Now i learned that never to trust these gadgets magazine too much. Better find the reviews on the internet like dpreview

sometimes dpreview also not that good....
why you always mislead people...??? dp1 can't pawn LX3. It is fix focus at f/4.0.
Its useless most of the time and a lot of problem here and there in auto department.
Please read more before comment. 

It's DSLR sized sensor beats all compacts and prosumers.
Since everyone here is talking about how the LX3's IQ is better than the G10's IQ, it felt necessary to mention that the Sigma's IQ is better than the LX3 
Please drop your biased mentality before commenting on comments.

because the fact is..it's end less to argue things like tat..every camera have pros and cons..
it's juz da matter on how u utilize it and bring out da camera's best..
use the camera..don let da camera use u..get wat i mean?
