Hancock Gets UK Blu-ray Date; US Soon?

Sony Pictures Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Europe has announced that they will bring the Will Smith summer blockbuster hit 'Hancock' to Blu-ray on December 1st, day-and-date with the DVD release. No official announcement regarding the US date, but with a UK date in place, one would expect to see it hit US store shelves on Tuesday, December 2nd.

No other information is available at this time, but stay tuned for an official announcement which

Sex and the City Movie Coming to Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Warner Home Video in conjunction with New Line Home Entertainment have announced that they will bring the smash hit 'Sex and the City: The Movie' to Blu-ray as a special edition on September 23rd, day-and-date with the DVD release. The title will come on a BD-50 utilizing 1080p VC-1 video. No other technical specs or supplemental features have been announced at this time.

got my first bd (Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy Boxset) from bro arj yesterday

I have one question to the sifus here:
How do we know that the sound received by the avr is really dd hd or dts hd and not just the normal dd and dts since there is no indication on the avr? is there any way to check that? The reason i m asking is because I cant hear the difference compare to normal dvd with dts/dd.
picture wise , of course can see the difference. bd is superior

anyone seen Closer on BD? if ure into fleshtones then i highlyhighlyultimately suggest to get this BD.. only available in amazon.uk. The fleshtone is the most accurate ive seen so far on BD (comparing to devil wears prada/catch and release/hairspray) why is this important well... i may add that natalie portman puts on the most 'erect'ifying scene ever in this movie.... so PQ means everything!! haha

the storyline is very demented, and those with shacky relationship should stay away from it though.. hahaha

both . ori/lulian dvd dd/dts vs bd dd hd/dts hd. i guess i cannot hear the different cause i have done some mistakes in my settings. i have to check again tonight

'select' button on ure ps3 controller and then press "triangle" button to pop up a splash ui, then navigate to the musical symbol, and press "circle" to toggle between audio quality i.e. dtsma / dd tru hd/pcm/etc.. u can see which sound is being decoded on the top of ure screen thx to the 'select' button.. then when ure satisfied, press 'select' again to remove those bars.. or u can just let it fade by itself after awhile...

ok.. now gimme 1 bd for consulting fees!

callmevil, i prefer to ise the BD remote and press pop up menu to select whicih audio directly
