there is a very strong wind noise from my gen2 cps left hand side once reached 80km/h.
what could be the reason? weather strip? alignment of door?
sounds like window not closed properly.

at last i have finished reading all 3 cps threads

getting my waja tomorrow, is it a good idea to tint my car as soon as i got the car?
*
Wow! Congratulation!! When did you order your car? My salesman told me last week end of the week can get but now still no news. Telling me all sorts of rubbish by saying PE is currently busy as they are rushing cars to Sabah/Sarawak for CNY season. Hope its not too long a wait!!! Cannot tahan already~!!

should be door alignment..try rub around the door edges to feel if there is any gap/ misaligned.....if its ok..then is the weather strip/the power window rubber....either 1.....for weather strip..try to see if there is wrongly fitted.....if there is....pull out the rubber and realign it urself to see if the problem solve.......if not send to S.C thumbup.gif

The visor can also contribute to wind noise.

Nope. Not a good idea. Even the shop that tint my car (Ecotint) also advise me to wait at least 1 week before coming back to the shop again for tinting to make sure the 'oil' in new glass has completely disappeared.
*
don't they suppose to do proper cleaning before affix the tinted film? Never heard of oil on the glass for new car anyway.

U see, the car that we get is not immediate roll out stock from factory, therefore how they can judge at least 1 week is sufficient? How about the new car in Proton Factory or Dealer storeyard that been under the sun for more then 2 weeks before owner collected the car? Don't make sense right?

for gen2 cps owner... do u feel that the sound proofing is not good?? i mean i can hear the plane sound flying above me... those turboprop planes.... can hear bikes and car passing by...

the tire shop tried to con u, it wont bend easily unless u hit a pathole.

Even u drive M5, u still can hear motobike or plane pass by...else ppl honk at u can't hear it and that's dangerous.
