I'm more interested in visual in car entertainment these days...  brows.gif

For performance, I've already change to K&N drop in. Others still standard. If I were to play with exhaust setup, the 1st thing is to remove the cat-con and replace it with bullet and changing the muffler to the twin-loop design. As for the header (extractor), I will used the R3 one because most of the header out there not suitable for CPS as the firing order is different from other engine (from what I read in a forum).

bro..how much u bot ur KNN drop in????

QUOTE(klia @ Sep 7 2008, 10:44 AM)
Good morning all cps owners, I am the luckly no 33 rclxms.gif. Please update me to the master list ; klia - twilight blue - 9677 - AT - PJ - waja cps.

Mutiara Damansara Platinum
1st - RM74.60 - Marh 5, oil filter, gasket & screen wash
2nd - RM99.27 - Syntium 800 15W/50, oil filter & gasket

Service Glenmarie
3rd - RM160.45 - Syntium 800 15W/50, oil filter, gasket, screen wash, spark plug & radiator coolant

Problem encountered refer to 1st page
1)  Frount fender squeezing sound - solved by lubricate stabilizer bar bush and tighten under carriage
2)  Allignment & balancing is out - its true and do it at outside workshop
3)  Buzzing sound - my car is at rpm 2600-2800, very iritating as this is my normal speed ma  doh.gif . 2 times complaint at Mutiara Damansara but they can't solve it. Fortunately Service Glenmarie able to fix it by changing the drive shaft
4)  Wiper - no problem
5)  Air-cond compressor sound - no problem
6)  'Check engine' light - complaint on 1st & 2nd services, very funny is after 1000km service, the car just moving abt 2 min then the light 'on' again - pening. Luckily now don't face it anymore, may be engine already warm up so long liao  rclxm9.gif
7)  Power window failure - when close the that PW, heard 'klok klok', tangan gatal open it again to confirm the sound heard. The sound is confirm and nightmare also started, the glass is sick liao and cannot stand it anymore. Very sad is the sc need abt 5 days to get the stock (regulator) from PPC (proton spare part distribution centre) because they are no stock vmad.gif , due to security purposes i make a HUGE noice to the top management and finally they ONLY seriously look into it and called the vendor for the stock tomorrow  doh.gif . Why the ineffiency of PPC can be continued to draw back reputation of Proton?

Anyway i still have 1 problem not yet settle, there is a 'pop' sound (continuouly but not so often) coming out from my back (seem to be). Firstly they say is due to the material of the waja's fuel tank is make of fibre so the tank will mengembang and mengecut  blush.gif . I ask arround those waja owner (campro) and they don't have this problem so  i don't believe it. I sent to Glenmarie and they change the canister for me. But now it seem like happen again but not so loud and they said no problem for the new canister o rclxub.gif  please advise. TQ in advance

Added on September 9, 2008, 11:47 pmwaja cps is using metal bracket or scissor type for the window?
*
aiks.....the fog light isit??? my left fog light crack liou, windscreen 2 bull eye crack....this is the result of travel too much...

fog light currently using Hella bulb.....bright sial!!!!....so much better thn other brand im using...even my fog light became aquarium it still works fine....boil the water inside sumore...

So far this thread no 1 mention about top speed...

mine is hit 190kph before....bt it was a slow climn frm 160kph - 190kph thanks to our drive by wire which limit our trottle input....which i gave 100% feel like it giving 70%...coz if i let loose slightly on the throttle..the responce of rpm is the same....

damn proton ecu...UNICHIP here i come!!!!

That a good upgrade.  thumbup.gif

Anyone notice that CPS got bigger exhaust piping than a normal 1.6 car. And the cat-con is also positioned further back, almost at the fuel tank.
*
i tot the catcon is placed just directly after the extrator geh??/
thn wat the box after the extrator?????

obvioulsy removing it will increase the hp and pick up...with KNN open port and CAI even more uppmmmmhh....

piping 2.0", s flow .....wow...hear oso syok..but....ICE 1st!!!!

Already install.. tongue.gif  Amp brand audio quad, 4 channel.. It state 2000 watts, but already told by the seller that it only produce 1000++ watts.. Together with revenge digital pre-amp. They already set the amp to produce the max of the speaker.. Also install the tweeter... The one with coil inside, heavier then the cheap one. Now the sound system already meet my taste.. But ONE DAY, will change all four speaker with better one. They also install a fuse for amp for free...  All together is RM450.. sweat.gif Hari raya promotion price...
*
audio quad??hahha...i heard audio quart before...but anyway...

EZ to know whether is 2000 watt or 1000 watt..just carry the amp...judge the weight....1000 watt is quite heavy....but to power up 2 pairs component..i duno think it needs 1000 watt....500 watt is enuf to carry it over the limit liou...component use very low power....compare to woofer...

my monoblock to blast my DVC woofer takes only 500 RMS...and my monoblock is heavy and large....

user posted image

same pic again...

component only took 300 RMS

standard clarion speaker is not bad but still doesnt have the ummpphhh factor....but anyway, save up to get a pair of good speakers to match ur amp..seriously..it makes alot difference......our standard clarion HU is good enuf..im using it....coz is nice with the interior...hha..happy modding...

I'm also thinking to do soundproofing .... maybe toward year end... from what I heard, with soundproofing you dont even need to upgrade your standard stereo...
*
Try dynamat ur front 2 doors where the 6.5" component is placed...is makes alot different..i done mine for rm 220....improve the sound quality frm the speakers and less sound intrusion during cruising....

yup..is true....once chance ur HU there is no function on the steering button..unless the HU u bot is with remote input for volume and search track..tht makes it functionable..but...thts is very hard to find those HU to compatible...

the original HU is match with the dashboard..thts y i done up my ICE without changing the HU....try buy a e-crossover to adjust the sound output before amp..coz it original sound frm HU is not really good..after enhancement with e-crossover...im sure it satisfy u..it can compete with alpine and pioneer....trust me...is really good...
