hello guys.. seeing a lot CPS owners joining now... after waiting for about a month my Windows now fixed.. and I notice that the CPS sounding more "growl" sound then before and FYI, mine now almost 7k already.. anyway, just received a letter from P&O Insurance stating about the Proton's extended warranty (5 year warranty) for my beloved CPS.. so you guys make sure you received this letter or else your new car only carry 1 year warranty, if not received better call Proton... last weekend my CPS having a good "fight" with Chevy Optra 1.8 but the winning wasn't on my side, I think but it seems that my CPS very difficult to go more than 140km/h..

Maybe this next coming 2nd service (10k) service will have checked and asked the SC to do some tuning... or maybe start to do some stage 2 modifications.. port and polish, lightened crack pulleys, etc.. or put the PowerZone's supercharger kit..

On my previous ride, Wira I did reset and retune the ECU, this was done by the SC and you see the much difference, the SC guy also did some testing on different ECU setting on my Wira and let's me to test for a few weeks and then come again to choose which setting I want.. all these done FOC one.. my current CPS need to wait for next service coming soon maybe after raya can go to SC to do this..

aiya.. forget already now OPS Sikap on the way.. have to drive very slow slow now or else SAMAN!!!!

On the eve of hari raya, I've another "fight" on the same road but now with Proton Arena.. same happen with my "fight" with Optra, my CPS won't able to go beyond 160km/h and seems there's a power loss after I shifted to 5th gear.. in short sprint run i.e. from 1st - 3rd gear my CPS have a very good response or torque but once I shifted to 5th..

Yesterday during beraya, my car got scratch by a pokok with duri, I think pokok kertas.. can this be removed by wax and polish? and for the problem with rattling or hissing sound near the dashboard (near the steering) as stated in the previous thread.. I also have this problem sometimes got but sometimes don't have.. after this cuti certainly must send the car to services.. even my milage still not reached yet. can't tahan anymore ler..

surf to their website.. a lot of nice designs but unfortunately there's none for Waja, maybe need to be customized.. how much does it cost?

Wah.. everyone here start to mod their CPS... change filter la, extractor la... etc... all "poison" will eventually kena me hehehehe...

wah so many people after hari raya got "gift" from their car or is it the sign to mod but then again JPJ is now going to enforce to those "ah beng" typed mod..

Reminds me of my ex-Wira SE, got ah beng type spoiler installed and my mum always use it for hanging clothes and always kena tahan by either JPJ or police if got roadblock.. hehehehe now got CPS want to installed spoiler at first then think of about it don't want ler..

your face looks like ah beng meh? my ex-Wira SE always kena tahan one.. everytime time kena tahan will ask me to open the hood, then ask me to vroom vroom the car and later they check my exhaust.. by always lepas la with my CPS now they always ask to jalan and don't bother to look also even I'm not wearing any seatbelt at that time..

Is there any problem in using used muffler? and how to know whether the muffler in in good condition?

is it waste of $$$$ to send the car for 2nd services even though its not reached the 10k mark? Currently my car is about 8k..

I using Shell's Helix Ultra which the interval is 10k per service that's why this is my 2nd service not 3rd service.. I'll be traveling a lot starting next month so don't have time to wait for the car to reach 10k so I guess it's no harm to send the car for service earlier, right?

me too got "eek" sound when press the brake pedal... better send for service ler if like this..

aiya.. want to go to SC then the sound suddenly no more already.. always like this everytime want to go for service the car seems to behave "very good"...

anyway, will send the car again maybe next week there's a plastic thing below the gear knob broken liao

When you loosen the gear knob, you'll see there's a plastic thing below it, mine is a bronze garnet color i.e. same with the car color.. the other my gear knob somehow loose and when tried to tighten it back it cracks.. maybe I tightened the gear knob too tight and it crack. but actually you remove the plastic thing..hehehe
