I dunno if its suppose to be like that or something is not right. The radiator fan keep running non stop and I have notice this 2 weeks ago and thought it could be a coincident so just now pump petrol keep the engine running without aircond also the fan keep spinning all the way, then continue to pump tyre and yet the fan keep spinning also.. is this suppose to be like that.. I don't think so.
Normally, the fan will cut out but mine doesn't.
You guys notice this on your CPS engine?

Engine also is jerking at underload.. and my car mileage is touching 20k km.
Sigh.. really headache with new car. sad.gif

I notice that most of the time when the engine running, the fan will be on. I think this is because the engine it self is hetter than the mitsu based proton engine.

Really,.. but the radiator fan should cut-out intermittently. because, before.. I didn't hear the fan running all the time, but now everytime I turn the engine off the fan will follow. That means its running full time.

Just now I check my radiator and reservoir water, no more and no less at the level. Tomorrow driving outstation will see if the fan will run full time again. This engine really run that hot hmm.gif

I would rather the fan turn on all the time rather than get overheating problem. whistling.gif

radiator fan huh...haha..dun worry la..is like tht 1....

after u wacked the car on hi rev after hi rev...the engine tend to get very hot....so...after wen u shutdown the engine immediately after wacking session..the radiator fan will turn on at least around 2-3 mins spinning (continental car style). normally it will shutdown right u turn of the ignition key wen on normal condition..those occurs only on extreme conditions.....dun worry..is normal....

normally engine have 2 fan...one for aircond n another one for cooling the engine...that is fan that cooling the engine....it will run untill the engine is cool or turn off...too me its normal...all car is operate the same system.the diff only that proton fan sound abit loud compare to other engine especially honda..they have quiet fan when operating..for example..when u arrive at home after hectic long journey...u can notice that ur fan will running quite long...too me nothing to be worried....

for example..when u arrive at home after hectic long journey then u turn off ur engine...then few second u try to on the engine...not to start it...the fan will continue fan-ning back(sory if salah words laugh.gif )....

but if the fan still operating after u shutdown the engine...that is serious problem laugh.gif laugh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

just want to share...my fren gen2 rosak his fan...the entire radiator fan with the aircond fan need to be replace...my fren said...ur lucky waja got seperated fan....soo if either one is rosak no need to chnage both...dammn issit true??wah lucky...he said pesona gen2 n gen2 cps will facing the problem..

Gen2 cps also have two separate fan, aircond fan and radiator fan.. biggrin.gif

My friends also have prob with the fan. Happened to his campro gen2.. One fan only.. The prob is the relay in the fuse box... After change it, it ok... Before that, the fan won't stop although already pull out the key.. sweat.gif

Both. Injection is for mixing air/fuel in the cylinder while Drive by Wire is for throttle control.

If your car in 1st - 3rd gear, without pressing the gas pedal, it will not jerk and die. Unless you press the brake.
