now i compare SE with nokia, SE definately expensive compare to nokia..but SE's design is better than nokia..especially N series, not really like it at all..

urm..it still depends on models i think. some N series is definitely more expensive. take N95 8GB, N96 for example. X1 is SE's top of the line model but it's based on WinMo which is a totally a different category from Nokia's focus on Symbian.

but it all boils down to each users' preferences. i'm definitely okay with all the brands. will choose one which best suits my budget with the specs i'm looking for.

Tube better due to bigger screen size and res. watch video on Tube really syok.

2. GPS
Im waiting for the proper *cough*2 Garmin version
Nokia maps didnt try yet

3. Imaging
in really good lightning, Tube better than p1i. but in Indoor, P1i especially with modded cam drivers perform much2 better. even with the flash, personally i prefer p1i.

4. Video Recording
Tube capture higher res video. but again, in really good lightning, nice but in indoor/low light, so grainy. in this indoor, p1i better (modded 30fps driver) despite having smaller res (but here, if u didnt mod ur cam driver, standard p1i also not good. tube better.

5. gaming with the accelerometer
best.

6. keyboard, i prefer p1i qwerty keyboard, faster. maybe becoz, Tube the qwerty type on keyboard, so im still learning. but if use the numerical style keypad, quite fast

8. wifi
still not tested yet

9. surfing net
TUbe better due to bigger screen n higher res

10. build quality
p1i feel much more premium due to aluminium part. Tube feel plastic, but still acceptable. BTW, for me p1i have more executive look n feel

how about the overall speed of the phone? does it lag a bit like P1i when launching app?

emm, so far ok ar. js the accelerometer sometimes to sensitive but sometimes its confuse. haha.
lag is subjective issue, so for me, so far ok ar.

guess i hv to try the phone myself. with the price of 1.3k, it should be a nice CNY present to myself..

LOL.. let's get back to the right track... was playing around with opera mobile 9.5 and opera mini 4.2 and i found that the opera mobile 9.5 freeze few time when browsing hotmail and then it crash.. anyone encounter such crashing problem when browsing with the new opera mobile?
besides.. i found that the opera mobile memory consumption is very high and the phone will lag when i have both opera mobile and mini open in the background to test out the functionality of both browser.

you people say opera mini is better due to the memory consumption but dont you guys feel that in opera mobile the pages load faster compared to in opera mini? thats what is happening on my phone.

my personal opinion is the new opera mobile 9.5 feel better compare to the old 1. but then, i encounter opera mobile crashing few times during my browsing
but navigation wise, opera mini still feel much better as you can use the keypad for navigation

the new v9.5b won't overwrite the existing v8.65 and the new version will appear under tools

Does the camera mod has significant difference with the stock camera application?
I think I'm gonna install it too. I need it for night shots, does the mod enhance night shots?

i did the camera mod. besides the burst that changed from 4 to 6, i cant spot any diff
