steel2k2, thanks for the advice. I managed to fix it already. I just reflashing the phone through SEUS. Now work flawlessly. Yeeeeeeeeha. But the downside all my contact gone. sigh.

Suggested to backup your phone settings / contacts every 2 months

every one week i will say..
since my phone suddenly died... with no warning... (old phone w850i)
and i lost some important contact... cant recall it bac...

What is the latest price for this model?
My friend said can get this model under rm1k, but most of the shop i ask sell this model around rm1020 - rm1050.

Pricing, it depends on your location i believe. You might be lucky to get an AP set below 1k... but mostly now selling around 1k-1.1k... around there

btw, Im planing to change to Singapore (95 Chinese CDA) as i only can view the chinese word but not type in sms.

Anyone have other link to download XS++ bcz the link on 1st page only showing me error page after a few try to open.

The contacts are still there but not readable by using the device, I need to use other phone to view, copy manually on the piece of paper, deleted the contacts put back the sim into my P1 and re-enter all the contacts again. I believe there are some incompatabilities by P1 the read the sim contacts that been saved previously by other models instead of P1.

Sony Ericsson PC Suit have a backup application there. Use that to backup your stuff. You have the option to choose which you would like to backup. Easy~ Update more often if you're a heavy modder on your phone =) Anything can goes upside down when you tend to mod a lot ^^

Why not? I do not have a bluetooth headset, but if i'm not mistaken my friend did tried before listening music using his bluetooth headset.

CDA /95 will be a Singapore version which you can read and write chinese
Firmware doesn't matter, you can update that yourself later if you want

Does anyone know if I install a certain program / application to the phone memory, what folder is it?

I've been looking for my Garmin folder (supposedly installed to phone memory) but can't find it.

Interestingly I can find some other folders like DocToGo etc in C:\

You looking for those folder manually for? You can only use explorer like Swiss / X-plorer to view those folder in phone

If you want to delete those folder, i suggest you to go uninstall instead, of deleting the folders manually

I want to add certain unlock files to the working folder to unlock the maps. usually if it is placed in the Memstick, the folder is X:\garmin\gmapsupp.unl but for the life of me I can't find garmin folder in C:\ using Swiss.

any1 changed P1's cover to the black cover....several question for u guys...

1. does it squeks when new cover installed....mayb it does not fit properly?

2. is it official?

3. can every1 buy it?

4. if can where? hehe...

yup.... i did quite d same. i bluetooth all contacts from my old phone to P1i 1st. Then, i deleted all sim contacts and then put sim card into P1i & copy all contacts back into my sim in batches. Odd thing is that after every reboot, accessing sim contacts will take 2-3 minutes during the 1st time after the reboot. after that, it's ok.

i wonder whether the data in the phone (contacts, sms..) is deleted after do the change for Singapore (95 Chinese CDA)??
