ya... totally recommend to do so.... if ur battery sudd went off during the update, ur hp will totally 'die'.... coz they edi deleted tat previous firmware in ur hp n the latest firmware haven finish update... so, better make sure the battery in ur hp is enough to stand till the update ends...

If I'm not mistaken you can change the INI file settings. Refer to 1st page for more details.

has any1 installed the MIDlet permissions changer mod by swmail? I tried it but the instructions in Readme.htm and also the Leftup cert readme.txt doesn't tell me what to do with the remaining 2 files - gensign.cer & gensign.key.

also, with this installed, how make those irritating question which appear everytime i try to go online with my opera mini disappear ?

I was thinking about it and I have doubts about how "good" this WLAN mod really is. Just at the top of my head, I'm guessing it boosts signal strength by *a lot* through changing some numerical parameters --> if this is so, then the phone battery life would be severely shortened when using WiFi for long periods.

This guess is made because the mod only consists of an INI (text) file. Can anyone confirm my guess?

both iphone lock and d original lock are seperated. so it will work regardless its like a mop and broom. both have same function

I tried the WiFi mod. Battery consuming... i think doesn't really affect much. Well, to me, i don't think there's any difference. But for signal, yes. It does improve slightly... not major difference. But yea, i did manage to scan some new wireless signal from my home compare to before modding

First of all, mod with care and carefully. What i meant by that?

1. Make sure your battery is full to make sure things is done safely.
2. Do backup if you doubts your way of doing things / you want things to be back as original
3. Do only stuff that you need, to avoid any under performance of your phone
4. Finally, seek for advice before you do anything, or anything goes wrong / not right
** everything can be reset to as original phone, by flashing your phone with the latest firmware again

If you did any of the mod, most people will say it will void your warranty. If you're scared... i advice you not to do it. But i've done so long... everything goes smoothly without any problem. If one day i happen to need to send back for warranty... i will reflash back my firmware then only send. Which means just like a new phone when i just bought.

Others, modding ways and stuff to download can be found here in the forum. Search around, and do more reading before you start off anything ^^

phew...after few week playing with my new phone and exams... finally got time to post here edi...

i found a few problem
bluetooth. can send and recieve from se phone
can send but CANNOT recieve from nokia phone... zzzz

camera. taking picture with the first shutter sound selelcted got no sutter sound only got the loked sound den take picture with silent.. @@

and i think this is the last...
after using wifi for like an hour plus... it start to keep on dc.. .hav to restart phone...

so sifuuuu... mind hel pme out..
