A related item here...
I think every air conditioned room should consider getting a humidifier

It helps counter the drying effect of an air cond in the room.

I used to wake up in my air cond room with a dry scratchy feeling in my throat.

After using this, throat feels fine after a night in the air cond room. thumbup.gif

Are you using the latest model or the previous one?
Cos from my personal experience, the previous model has problem with it air swing.
If still within warranty period, lodge your complain and keep pressuring them to replace the blower unit. Once they replace with the new model blower, problem solved... tongue.gif

I see. My unit produces rattling/vibrating noise when I switch on (the first 5 minutes) as though the whole unit is working really hard. And the noise will go on throughout the night when the room temperature increases. Oddly, I left the swing in on position.

Suggest that you complain to Panasonic. Get the report no. & keep following up with them. They will response quite fast. The problem is whether they will managed to rectify your problem or not?
If they still cannot rectify the problem, insist that they replace the unit.....
With persistent and also directed to the correct parties, they will eventually do so... smile.gif

The technician who did the installation is lodging a complaint through his supplier/factory. Hoping for the best solution now.

2 questions to ask big bosses here.

1) anyone use Midea brand before for more than 2 years? good and reliable?

2) usually if water starts dripping out from the air cond, is it because of the air cond or the piping itself? i called the aircond contractor and he told me most likely the pipe is blocked and needs cleansing. after that should be ok. but it happens quite often, so i suspect it could be my aircond instead.

inverter - energy saver (only if recommended use guide is followed)

non-inverter - basic normal air cond

inverter deluxe - deluxe is just a term from the company, its also known as ioniser. This means inverter with ioniser.

Hi somebody, anybody, I need help. My contractor is charging me RM400 to conceal 1.0HP air con copper pipe for 0.61mm with 4 col wiring and water pipe c/w plastering for limit 10'. Then Rm450 if it is 1.5HP, RM500 if it is 2.0HP and RM600 if it is 2.5HP.

Is this like super expensive? air con point is already RM180. He said because he use 0.61mm copper piping not those soft ones..
