If you only use your washer once a week, then go ahead and buy it.

But if you use it everyday with large load, better stick with high reputation brand such as Panasonic, LG or Electrolux.

Electrolux is always reliable, 10 years of usage is already worth the money.

Somehow from experience, Electrolux machines almost always have PCB board issues.

Pls do buy extended warranty, whichever model you getting.

not really... my electrolux washer and dryer all used since 2014 and now still is going strong.. no issue. never replace any parts or breaks down before..

Today went to homedec and bought washer + dryer. Came back home read this thread, make me a bit dilemma of my choice of brand.

I bought Electrolux FL washer and dryer, not sure still can change my order or not, I m eyeing on LG. About the same price with AI and WiFi.

So, Electrolux or LG more recommended?

Anyone having issue with LG top load washer (my model is T2313VSAL) that keeps on sensing for the load weight (sensing light keeps on blinking) but cannot continue with the actual washing itself? Tried to set to manual load and water level but still cannot wash.

I have extended warranty and contacted the company but they will revert in 5 working days. Just checking whether anyone has similar issue before

Do you really need a washing machine with AI and internet connection?
What is the benefit having AI in my washing machine?

AI is just a marketing word, actually its just a preprogrammed setting in the WM which will determine the washing pattern depending on the load of your clothes using sensors, some like LG claims they can detect the fabric type as well but I not sure how they do it, maybe with sensors as well

Wifi connection to me is not really gimmick as I found a few good use cases for myself. The best function is remote start. For example I am going out, I can load the clothes first and put the WM into standby mode. Then I can start the WM from the app about 1hr before i return so by the time I'm home the clothes are ready for me to dry

No need to dilemma. Electrolux is a household name for FL washers. I prefer LG FL washer because of the direct drive inverter motor & apps control to schedule my laundry. Normal non-DD FL washers have a belt which will eventually wear out and needs replacement. I've recommended few friends to LG, and have friends using Electrolux with no issues as well.

Washer dryer combo easily holland.. unless you absolutely need to save the space.. don't go for it. Even big brand like LG also holland. I am using LG DD front load washer only, 9KG.. going strong. Now I wished I bought a bigger unit like a 13kg with bigger door and drum..can stick comforter in.

Each has pros and cons, it all depends on what you need in a washing machine.

Front load uses less water, uses high efficiency detergent as it agitates the clothes better.

I feel it cleans better than top load and gentler on clothes. Thatโ€™s based on my observation of the collar on my PRL polos.

Top load generally cheaper. Easier to load as well compared to front load. Family uses top load. I bought my own place and use front load.

LG is generally considered more reliable than Samsung when it comes to WM

Any good recommendation for front load washing machine ? If got dryer and washer will be great, else just washer would be fine for now. Just 2 person staying, so not a lot of clothes to wash..
