hi, would like to seek opinion on which model front load machine recommended (only front load because top load not suitable

usage: homestay use, normally 4-8 guest stay 2-5 nights, but usage is minimal
budget below rm1.7k for 8kg similar front load

currently using 8kg Teka front load washing machine provided by developer, but the DC motor noise is too noisy that it is affecting the stay.
Contacted a washing machine repair person, he mentioned that sound is from the DC motor brush and there's no way to fix it, but i compared with other same brand same model washing machine and found that it is less noisy.

9KG LG is priced around 1.9k, on January 2024, maybe you can get 1.7k for 8kg one without AI, the model is LG WD-MD8000WM, has only basic features and not many programs

Hi, need recommendations on heat pump dryer.

Family debating over buying more expensive Electrolux heat pump vs cheaper but "untested" Midea dryer.

Has anyone used Midea dryer before? Can comment?

For those using LG front load 10kg+, during spin cycle do you guys experience any rattling sounds?

Recently noticed quite a significant rattling noise on mine when the speed ramps up to 1.2k - 1.4k rpm. Found out its the detergent dispenser drawer. When i press my hands on it or pull it out slightly then the rattling is gone. Is this normal? Will they entertain warranty claim?

my 9kg has the same problem when going above 800 and 1200rpm, probably the dispenser drawer, but after i rebalance the washing machine then it doesn't occur that frequently, only when i wash curtain it make the sound due to imbalance load

Heat pump is technically superior. Power savings
I choose LG front load washer due to direct drive. No belt. Unsure if combos are direct drive, if yes, will always be my choice.

LG ThinQ is life changing for me. To schedule washes. Throw laundry & detergent in at night. Schedule for completion when I wake up.

Pretty sure Midea cheaper than all the Japanese and Korean brands.

I have Sharp washer, top load one. Didn’t last long. Couldn’t be repaired.

The whole drum vibrating inside the machine, insides all plastic. Get 2 different technician all say can’t fix.

Lasted about 7 years only.
Samsung 7kg top load going strong.

Old Toshiba 6.5kg pink color one refuse to die more than 12 years lol.
