Hey I am moving into a new house soon smile.gif I need a fridge too tongue.gif

Is it worth it to use an Inverter Fridge as I am thinking of buying 1 right now. Yeah I know it costs more but I think it does save energy in the long run right? like in 5 years time biggrin.gif

Yes better get a energy saving type. Fridge is the most energy sucker. And you got to stick with it at least 10yrs before it die.

Hi, I just bought HITACHI 2-door Refrigerator last Saturday.
Model : RZ410AM
402 Liters Capacity
Minus-Zero Cooling
Triple clean system
Tempered glass shelves
No-Frost & CFC Free
Price; around RM1400.00 ++
First I look at Panasonic 2 door, but the towkay said Hitachi is much better with energy saving technology. The tempered glass is so classic.

Myself also just bought a Hitachi R-S800GM (Black) side by side fridge, it looks really nice
& i am happily using it now.
The most impressing part is the ice/water dispensing system, it makes clean ice from a
built-in tank system & you can enjoy clean ice and water anytime from a tank water
supply system . No plumbing & no changing of filter water (which is costly) required... rclxms.gif

For standard fridge (< RM 3k)...

I like the Panasonic Fridge.
Reason is because the Freezer is below which is more practical.

for a good deal - even on highend products - try ESH in SS2. they offer a lot of bosch items. got a great deal on a bosch fridge and fagor dishwascher (didnt want to shell out 5k on a similar bosch just for the name. fagor energy rating was just as good and it cleans great).

Dunno if about that, it's easy to get vegetables, simply open bottom compartment and take them out, with freezers, things tends to get stuck together, and need some effort to get them unstuck.

Further more with a smaller bottom compartment for freezer, the angle at which you need to approach in order to get the stuff out is steeper, ie need to bend more (attached friendly diagram)

The Hitachi R-S800GM capacity is not 800L, the gross volume is about 707L
whereby the net volume is about 589L only.

I bought the display unit from SengQ at below RM5k... rclxms.gif
