Think i'll try tonight. The Sapphire card really cheapskate one, manual pun tadak.(that piece of card inside the box is not very useful)..i guess that's the price you pay for a top brand like Gigabyte and an economical one like  Sapphire.

I've downloaded the manual from Gigabyte's website for their 4850 card. Looks like there's a 'ATI Realtek audio' which can be selected from the control panel. Must give it a go tonite.

Cheers.

I thought for ATi cards Sapphire/HIS/Powercolor are one of those of better quality? I saw on some seller thread mentioning that's why the price are more expansive hmm.gif

Eh, a question regarding to RBE.

Which clocks should I change for the idle state? Is it the one 500/750?

Do you guys know that we can stress the GC for few seconds by using CCC?
The Test Custom Clocks button on Overdrive. It forces the GPU activity > 100%
But last 5 seconds only.Or i am late? doh.gif

Hmm.. i saw a thread on HD4850 by coolice. Gainward HD4850 watercooled but the OC is not impressive. Yields only additional 1-2FPS in Crysis at max. OC sweat.gif

www.. my humble score.. www no tweak no whatever shit.. as long games are playable I'm happy : D

for your references only

3dmark06 - ati hd4870 - 9604 www - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=7538595

old one

3dmark06 - nvidia 9600gt - 8778 ww - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=6159142

3dmark05 - ati x1900xt - 10599 w - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=2223867

I got more old one, just incase if you people want... hehe.

I play abit of Crysis and Bioshock just now.. everything at high and 1680x1050 no aa damn song..

seriously.. I hope to enjoy more games like Crysis in different genre... which push the pc to the limit. don't you people think PC gaming are dying? come come go go just that few title.. yet our gfx card are getting more meaner and bigger horsepower but it's a shame didn't put it into a good use. I seriously hope.. more and more pc games can really gauge with all these card.

Well reason why PC gaming is dying and developers are moving to consoles because pirates are killing them.

if u notice la.. using the CCC won't fully show the load temps... it onli show load temps for a few seconds run onli... ATi Tools u can run it for hours and it will show u the true Load temp of the card...
