ER for recon cs-6, if use screw driver, which part I need to push in AR ? the + cross holder there or other side?
I didn't take out and see so not sure how it look like, but I just know can see the + cross holder there.

i drilled my AR from the back of the plunger. and i have tested the range and power.. my modded recon can beat my longshot easy... my modded recon can go about 35feet but my longshot can only go 25-29 feet... sucks my ass T.T

Added on April 10, 2009, 12:15 amthat cross is from the front view.. do it from the back of the plunger.. you can see a small circle which is the back of the + thing... poke the screw hard but dont break your gun... after modding the recon... without barrel it can go upto 35 feet depending if the bullet changes its direction~~

"depending if the bullet changes its direction~~ ",This 1 remind me....Last time I play my nerf recon... I just simply test the accurate, then got 1 time, just only 1 time, the dart after come out from recon, it turn 90 degree from left to right and fall like that....... Curve the bullet..

sorry for the late reply, i was tired from work and slept early last night.

anyway, i use drill to take both AR for the LS. for the main gun, inside the chamber(after drilling), you'll see the AR. from your descriptions, i think you broke the AR(yes the AR is quite big and long). it doesn't matter(i broke mine too). you didn't break the pole that holds the darts, right(check from the front)?

the next step is to make the whole wider so that you can take out the broken AR and its spring. then clean up. make sure the pole in front is not broken. as long as that pole is intact, you're on the right track.

it's the same way, drill it. for videos, you can search youtube for some. the front gun is easier than the main gun.

Did anyone try to mod the maverick? Like drill bigger hole at the AR or change to stronger spring...

The rapidfire 20 is a TRU exclusive. Its out in the Singapore and selling like hot cakes. Should be here soon, its similar to the Magstrike, except bigger and fires 20 darts in rapid succession ?

I prefer the Magstrike, cooler and more awesome. lol

Hi nugget1123, thanks for the Jusco JB TRU nerf stock update! A few of us from SG drive up every once in a while to buy Nerf stuff from there too, your update is very helpful.

Btw, just to clarify on nerf stock, the Nerf Rapid Fire 20 (RF20) is not avaliable in SG yet, most of the RF20 units that SG nerfers currently have were bought from Jusco JB TRU a while back (before they ran out of stock), and those were the older Black/Red versions.

So now we're waiting for the New N-strike Yellow/Black versions.

So do keep a look out for the new N-Strike RF20!

Bought myself a Maverick pistol at the old price from Mid Valley, and no, it is not from Robinsons, Robinsons sudah naik harga

Managed to find a few of them left at C4 MV (with one Maverick missing a dart coz you knowlah, got hantu) selling for RM 34.90. Metrojaya and Robinsons sudah naik harga to RM 44.90

since its claimed having "laughable" distance i dont think i would even consider one... as u cant even mod it...

The Vulcan has an 25-30 foot firing range (similiar to an unmodded longshot or recon), average but sufficient for most actual nerf games, which are usually played at those kind of distances anyways. Its real strength lies in its fully automatic belt drive firing mechanism.

You can definitely mod the Vulcan... for increased rate-of fire. Distance becomes less of an issue when you can chase up and spray 15-20 darts at your opponent before they can even fire back their 2nd shot!

I've been running my own Vulcan's voltage at 12-15 Volts for the past few months, not as high as their 19.2 Volts, though i've tried that kind of high voltage too, super fast but can smell the motor overheating after firing a few belts... would rather prefer to preserve my vulcan's motor yet get higher rate-of-fire.

Btw, its also easy to link up the ammo belts to extend to 50 or 75 (or 100!) dart capacity... you'll need it.

it's ok i guess. but i'm staying with my point that the pole actually helps with accuracy, so i prefer them intact.

my reason for not owning a vulcan: 6 D batts? <-- not very cost efficient.
