I guess nerf lost its popularity. Anyway, just replied for update. Painting ruined by a faulty old aerosol spray paint i bought from ace hardware, their paints probably been on the rack for many years without buyers. I ran out of metal black and used krylon desert brown and khaki spray paints instead to repaint the ruined metal black. It's in desert colour now. Even these high quality paints are expired that they painted rough.

Hey, you guys know where is the air restricter in zombie strike crossfire bow?

that thing, same with rough cut, use a different type of restrictor. it's an intelligent restrictor that actually pick only a loaded muzzle to fire(x4). remove those and it will just fire all 4 darts at once.

besides, removing restrictor on the newer nerf line doesn't really improve anything. in fact, removing the restrictor from a strongarm would screw the air pressure and results in less power. (from my on experience)

So, you basically didn't mod the new nerf line?

no reason to. removing restrictors were necessary for the older n-strike line, but the new lines(elite, zombie strike etc) are already optimized. the new restrictors actually helps, unlike the old ones. if you want to mod, then just do spring upgrade, dead space filling and ensure you have good o-ring seal.

You can do it too, it's cs18. If you want simple, just spray flat black colour like standard m16a4 stock colour. If you have lots of time and patience, you can use masking tape to come up with different colour scheme.
