lol: Maybank so aggressive promoting ZIng Card (tounch n go),

i remember i didt ticked / select to own this card while i applied for Maybank

Petronas CC, after couple month using Maybank Petronas CC,

curiously i received a courier (attached ZIng Card) today morning.

I believe the Zing Card is a Debit Card so obviously U start off with RM0!!

I'm glad MBB didn't send me more than what I applied for - it'll go straight into the bin though

i suddenly received my Public Bank CC statement, 1st thought how come? shd not be i got owe money to PBB since i never use it for past 9 months.

opened up, oh, it's mega bonus rebate. RM0.06 credit balance shown in my statement.

wah... bcoz i got 0.06 rebate, they sent me statement.

in fact most of us gotta pay for internet access just to send comment here

Almost everything there was just minyak for the month ~RM570 and a round of shopping at Ikea. Not a whole lot.

Has anyone done auto debit for your utilites on the credit card? Is it possible to put a limit on each auto debit, eg. I don't want my electricity bill to be more than RM200 per month, if it is then something's wrong and I don't want it to go to my credit card first.

Not possible to put limit in each debit (For any of those auto debit offered by the banks). Every month you will debited for the full amount that you owe to the bank and if you are worried about the billers charging you wrong then I suggest you not to take up auto debit. It will get very messy from my own personal experience.

im using the zing card. the top-up (RM100) is automated after ur balance reached < rm50. ur statement will show RM102 (RM2 fee vs convenience).

Good point, I've had issues before, at least I was paying cash so I didn't have to pay anything during the appeal to the utility companies.

At least in the US, Amex is well known for their customer service. They'll reverse any charges you ask for on the spot and they can take it up with the merchant. Not sure what sort of service we can hope for in Malaysia...

I believe you need to specify which card you want to pay for by keying or selecting that particular card number even though they're sharing the same account or even credit limit.

You can have one credit card account with multiple cards (different card numbers).

Can we add together the salary+commission+allowance to add up annual income of RM40k?

Some of my friends able to apply gold card even the salary almost the same like me.

They have citibank and hsbc CC.

As long as you have documents to prove that. You could seek advice from your friends on how they managed to get it.

I heard some say if got good payment record, can consider to upgrade too even if income doesn't meet requirement

Yes, it's under the bank's discretion and very subjective.

If your monthly usage always exceeds the offered limit, they may also upgrade your card to gold card instead upgrading your credit limit.
