anyone knows how to make hsbc credit card payment via maybank2u ? i`ve tried to add credit card option , but nothing happen .. any other option ?

I have a Paypal account and if I were to deposit some money into the Paypal using credit card, will it be considered as cash advance or it is just like buying credits in Paypal and the 55 days interest free still apply.

is the bank islam and bank rakyat cc better? coz i saw the advertisement no double charge? what does it mean?

Neither as they lose out in terms of promotions as compared to any other cards in the market (unless you have a special reason to use their product) ... I will not use either one of them especially Bank Rakyat's products (I had an extremely bad experience b4) as their customer service is sooo slow and bad at the counter let alone the credit card and untested/unproved CS track record.

if want go for the islamic credit card, go to Al-Rajhi Bank... 1 of the biggest islamic bank in world.

in islamic term, credit card word is not used, but following the islamic principle. forget what's the name already.

I agree with you as it is safer to use international brands.

One of my friend has the Bank Islam card so I'm OK about it (My friend is happy about it as he says that the CS is polite and he has no complaints about the product) except promotions are non-existant. Definately a no-no for Bank Rakyat's product ... their conventional product CS already so bad ... I have very little trust in their credit card product.

Just outta curiosity, what are the factors that the bank consider if a person were to request for a credit limit increase?

Was told the cardholder must have had the card for a minimum of 1 year. Anything else?

huh got such thing ar?? my fren said he used the card in hypermarket buying pork also no problem oh.

- gud record in paying backs the bills...
- promoted to higher rank of positions...
- requested to upgrade credit limit with supported documents...
- automatically upgrade if always used up reach d limits with a conditions must pay bac the bills in time!
- get a better card or register a new card...

My God, yr friend just desecreated the card

Now its no more halal and will probably contaminate the entire system ...... better get JAIS to revoke their certificate

No need so cumbersome, just get a charge card and no need worry about credit limit, ever

er buying pork is ok. eating pork is not. there's nothing wrong in buying pork.

alcohol on the other hand is different. cant buy, consume, serve, sell etc.

-good paymaster (compulsory)

-promotion (goes without saying)

-upgrade without supporting documents (how is this possible)

-credit limit used up all the time but must pay back in time (are you referring to minimum payment or full settlement)

-better card / register new card (mind elaborating?)
