@vin_ann,
Yes it is possible to get a FFL Amex Card. MBB has this policy where they offer FFL CC on the 3rd CC issued by them. I don't think this is applicable for the Amex Platinum though.

Can't help U on the GSC thing - good luck!

vin ann , you can check the upper right of gsc main page there should have a history. I have this case before as the page load fail. But when i check with the bank it just hold only for less than half hour, after their system refresh, will auto reverse the payment. This is my case thought.
Amex gold charge card is free, but you need to call in for waiver.

I don't find problem using local bank cc oversea , all the credit card are accepted worldwide, i used MBB in HK without problem, using Cimb in South Korea without hassle. But make sure the place does accept visa master .

that depends what kind of lifestyle you want over there? biggrin.gif

if you try their buffer fish, costs rm250/meal? biggrin.gif <-- tried, soso only..

if you try their normal ramen stall, costs rm30/meal?

if you take their bento, costs range from rm15 - rm30

on average, standard meal is about 7500 - 10000 yen.

they have horse meat sashimi as well. didnt try though....

I will recommend Direct Access/CIMB MasterCard which offers 2% rebate on all petrol staion in Malaysia (until 31 Dec 2008).
Rebate credited at the end of billing date.

jcb are widely accepted at japan but not much merchant in malaysia accept jcb card. Usually i will standby USD in case cash not enough when oversea. Visa and Master are sufficient enough to cover your usage la.

Yes.. Visa & Master is good enough for U to use overseas. The thing about using cards overseas is the CL; esp if U are using it to pay for accommodation and all; esp in the Western countries where conversions are sky high!

So split it across different credit cards lah biggrin.gif They're more than happy to do it. One alternative is to bring lots of cash, not a good idea when you're paying say 5k Euros for hotel fees.

And the final alternative is to use that American Express charge card, no pre-set credit limit eh biggrin.gif

Thanks a lot broo !!

That clear me up a lot !

Now i know that each transaction will charge full amount, and its between me and bank.

But I did not sign any slip on how many months & interest % with the merchant.
I called up bank and told inform them im doing installment ... and they told me only 10 mth and 20 mth ..
I only sign up application form with the merchant without anythin mention about payment rclxub.gif

Fyi, this is fitness first personal training lol
*
Hmm any advice on the installment for not signing any document ? unsure.gif

Btw, Is it really safe to expose credit card numbers ?

Such as to cc agent, customer service and etc etc ... what happend if they abuse it
