QUOTE(mucklampir @ Apr 17 2015, 08:41 PM) I'm under akpk programme for 3 years already with monthly commitment rm700. Salary near 9k. I checked ctos is clean, ccris record for 10 loans (all under akpk) also 0 for past 12 months. Since i'm under akpk i have no other commitment. Is it possible to get home loan? Recently i applied personal loan 50k just to clear akpk balance but was rejected. As long as you are still under DMP, you won't be able to apply for loans.

If still in doubt, they'll insist collection is done via your banker. The branch manager will be the one to verify your identity before he can release the report sent by BNM (not printed from the bank as there's more information with BNM's version)

Hi All,
Was trying to apply for loan and suddenly was told that there is this CCRIS stuff. Found the rootcause is from a credit card.
Assuming I make full payment to the credit card and request for a termination. Will it update the CCRIS immediately so this wont be a concern for me applying loans?
If not, is there any other method?
Please advise!
Now only realize it is important to manage all these bills on time =/.

The bank will update your record by the 10th May. If you're lucky, your bank maybe one of the earliest banks' that update ccris i.e by the 2nd May or be kind enough to update your ccris on your urgent request.

If you have non-satisfactory payment records of your credit card in the past 12 months, even if clear your card outstanding, the bad records for the latest 12 months will still appear on the CCRIS.

Hi All,
A quick question. I have RM18k outstanding on my credit card. I have missed 6 months payment. I understand that I am on CCRIS as my personal loan got rejected. I spoke to the collection department and they told me to pay atleast RM5300 to active my account or take up the restructuring term loan. The card has been cancelled.
My question is:
1. If I pay the RM5300, will I be still in CCRIS? Will i be able to apply for personal loan after i pay the RM5300? 2. Is the term loan offered is a good move? I heard somewhere that restructuring the debt is a bad credit score and will be reflected on record for a long time.

With or without restructuring your term loan, your credit score is already poor by virtue of your missed missed payment for your credit card. Go ahead and reschedule to ease your cash flow and also repair your credit card record. After six months of continuous repayments (latest BNM's guidelines), your reschedule tag in CCRIS will be uplifted. By then your record should look better too.
