3k outstanding? you just clear min payment every month? or you didn't pay this outstanding balance for few months already? Need to know your monthly income, others commitment like personal loan, car loan and etc to count your DSR for your home loan.

Car loan settled, no other loan. Bought some furniture 2months ago but got keep on repay the debt. If I want I can settle it one shot. Just want to know will I get my loan if I got this outstanding 3k.

Depends on your monthly income and monthly commitment. Without knowing all these information I'm unable to answer your question

No other commitment. Only phone bill and unifi. Lol. Salary would be around 3k

If your ccris record is good and no bad record in ctos, and u hv no others loan except 3k cc outstanding. Base on yr income, to loan for 240k said for 30 yrs, monthly installment  should b around 1k+ which is only 30% ratio of yr income, under normal circumstances, chances for  bank to approve the loan is higher. My 2 cent

Your salary just enough for your monthly repayment for around 240k house so I will advice you clear all your credit card outstanding before apply for home loan

like what yybryan said...

bankers are the one who make a decision based on CCRIS report.

based on your salary and current debt, only your payment history will lower your chances.

Thanks for all the advise. But if I settled the 3k now, won't bank feel suspicious? I read through this thread and found out we can request our CCRIS report through email right? How long will I get the report after I requested? My credit card payment always be punctual just one time bank called me and told me payment due and I make payment immediately. Also, for your information, my father will be my guarantor for this loan.

You bought furniture 3k is using credit card or you go to Courts?
if CC, as slong as you repay as per plan okay dy.

As for Courts, the loan will not appear in your CCRIS records.

actually, if go most outlets, there's another section whereby a record can be shown, if their staff wants to put a person (normally businesses, due to large amount) in that section

as for Credit Card, you are right, should be shown

I'm using CC. What do you mean by plan? Meaning the furniture costs 3k then I repay 3k? Or make the minimum payment before every due date?

Btw, if we call bank and make the 3k sum become installment, how much bank will charge?
