Nope, you have to send it to the country of origin for warranty claim.

Last time I've issue with my iPhone error 1013, called Apple SGP, they said have to send back to Australia for warranty claim. They checked iPhone part number, the MB#

well if dis is true, i can bet many ppl wil b usin maxis data plan.. might increase sales but congest d network..muahaha.. so anymore updates regardin iphone launch?

A good indication for their iPhone plans would be to look at their Blackberry pricing. Obviously our plans are slightly cheaper than the already expensive Blackberries.

I might be wrong on this but as stated in my earlier posting in this thread, not everyone will be given a free iPhone. Only some 'privileged' ones.

The rest will have to pay a probably reduced price ala their on-going mobile phone deals.

However, we will know for sure soon enough if what some of you are saying is factual.

I just heard from a bird in Maxis that IPhone project will kick start this 20th of March!

The bad news is they are not ready with the billing system and etc. But the marketing people are pushing this deadline nevertheless...

good news! hopefully it comes with an affordable contract for free... but maxis never generous to their user...

and of cos Bad news to all those selling high price Iphone seller in LYP and etc...

we all cross our finger, hoping that it is true. but i have to agree with pelvin.
We are not in the "Coming soon" list. The waiting have seen sooooooooooooooo loooooooooooooooong..

Just want to check- are their any country in the world that get iphone without been in the "coming soon" list?
OR maybe apple can't differentiate M'sia and Indo? (since Indon is in the list)

maybe because Malaysian gov boycott US products too much till they boycott us back...

actually it's because malaysia's market for iphone is not big enough so they're no interested to sell their phones here. too much trouble.

and ur tellin me countries like panama, nicaragua, venezuela and such have a very big market for iphones?

i dont think that is the case.. Japan is even worst..according to 1 forum the Japanese telco are giving iPhone for FREE if they subscribe their line cos they cant sell it ... and japanese think iPhone is a piece of junk cos lack of basic stuff and they think iPhone design dont look Japanese enough.... heh

If it doesn't come by 23rd March 2009 can i sue you?
