A friendly advice is that don't forget your passport & money
(and while you are in the airplane or off at a transit, don't forget your boarding pass).
As for the gathering -- remember to bring your camera for the group photo

Hi you can say:
"Sapporo Eki made onegai shimasu". (To Sapporo Station please) if you not sure, you can say "Sapporo Eki dou yatte ikimasuka?" (How to go to Sapporo Station) ------------ btw, today I saw news said that there was an plane accident at Narita.... This post has been edited by jayhan: Mar 23 2009, 10:11 PM |

F4tE: As far as I recall, there are no counters to sell tickets but the ticket machines will all have "English" menu option. So, don't worry too much... Also, there'll be staffs around to help you if you ask them. Most of them will speak basic English.

The JAL receptionist advised me not to speak Eigo too fast to the Japanese (even though they understand a little), or else they'll run away with red face ! |

Well, that's good advice.
Like i said earlier - they speak basic English... so, don't expect for them to understand normal conversation speed & speech... but if you slow down and speak word by word " Ticket. to. Sapporo. for. one. person. " (you get the idea...) then they'll understand. Hi guys,
I'm new here. I'm planning to visit Japan somewhen mid of Aug this year. Can any of you guide me as to where I can get cheap flight tickets? Right now, I'm thinking of just doing 2 weeks of the Hokkaido Island. Thus, how much would a typical ticket from KLIA to the CTS airport? Whic airline is the cheapest? Thank you very much. In case any of you been to Hokkaido on your own, is it hard to travel around, I mean to the exact destination once you come of the JR train. I read that the buses are very limited per day and they take quite a long time to travel from one point to another in Hokaido due to it's landscape. that's why, I'm still thinking if I should do the cities in the Honshu Island instead. How much would if cost me to fly from KLIA to the Narita airport, then? Thank you! |

So far - weather forecast still shows as 'cloudy' which is good I guess as long as not raining.
I'll be bringing about 5 bottles of mix soft drinks with paper cups... as for plates; do we have food that'll require plates & fork & spoon? If not, can someone please just bring a box of tissue paper so we can use? |
