QUOTE(tanoshi @ Dec 9 2008, 12:31 AM) I ingat macam biasa lah bro..1 day delivery by 'kucing hitam' also can pay when item arrive in your hand. need not to pay in advance then! Haha.. tapi 'Kucing Hitam' kat airport tu ada sikit ubah rule... Last I recall, when you want to send your luggage back to the airport - sometimes you gotta send like 1 or sometimes even 2 days in advance of your departure date; so if your luggage contains all your clothes... then quite inconvenient to send it in advance kan?Added on December 9, 2008, 8:25 am QUOTE(firedauz @ Dec 9 2008, 01:07 AM) Hahaha... fusion of Malaysia + Japanese culture... QUOTE(kytan @ Dec 9 2008, 01:57 PM) Hi all, just wanna ask if it snows in Tokyo? And what temperature should i be expecting end-January? It snows but very rarely. Like perhaps just once or twice over the entire winter season and not a lot.End of January will be cold so expect single digit temperature (anywhere from high of 8-9'C to about 0'C at night) - as far as I can remember. |

QUOTE(PsyCHZZZ @ Dec 8 2008, 08:47 AM) You might wanna get the Suica card at the airport... check this out: PsyCHZZZ, (Suica + NEX) - http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/suica-nex/index.html I think it's a pretty good deal (normal train from Narita airport to Tokyo is about 1100 JPY but takes extra 20+ minutes and also you gotta change trains which might be confusing and a hassle if you have a few luggage). Applying at the Airport also makes it easier as you can return it for your refund when you get back to the airport during your departure. Just my 2 yen opinion. thanks for the tip! it is definitely cheaper and TOTALLY worth buying. I used to take limited express (Keisei) from Narita to Ueno around 1100JPY, since N'EX is usually around 3000JPY. but, with this package, N'EX is just 1500Y. CHEAPPPPP! Tanoshi should add in this info at the main page as well. does this cards have expiry? cos my NTT phone card seemed like not expired even after 2years. I had to always keep Pocari Sweat in my backpack, anywhere i go. the dryness is a bit different that Msia, but should be ok. Just need to ensure to take more fluids. This post has been edited by keii-kun: Dec 10 2008, 08:49 AM |

YESS....vending machine is everywhere, but buying 5 bottle of POCARI SWEAT/day can burn a serious hole in your pocket.150JPY x 5 = 750JPY = RM30 a day for drink. 5 days? there's a lot of things u can buy with that amount of money. for me, i'd brought air masak from hotel (sakura hotel ikebukuro has in-room water heating pad). every little saving is worth it. during winter, my fav would be Van Houten hot cocoa miruku.... as for summer , melon sodaaaa! if you love pocari sweat or other sports drinks, you can buy the powder form and just add water. usually 1 packet is less than 100yen and can make 1 litre of drink. if you dont mind the diluted taste, you can top up to 1.5 litre bottle
