I'm still waiting for the shipping cost from them. I don't think it will be expensive as its only a player...

FYI, tthey use both UPS & US Postal (I forgot the actual name but i think this other service is stg like Pos Malaysia or Pos Laju)...

I think in SG its a bit overpriced at S$899 which totals up to around RM2.2k - RM2.3k ... The good side is, you can always send back for warranty but mine would be a hassle wink.gif

It actually depends on dimension and weight. I know the Oppo (8kgs) shipping thru UPS/DHL/FedEx was around RM600-800....So don't be surprised if it comes to be the same as SGD899 in the end.

Wow using UPS that expensive eh? I didnt know that.. If its the same price as S$399 then not really worth it cos if anything happen, i need to send it back 2 d US. Hopefully they can give me a reasonable price like around Rm400..

Actually i got 2 options, 1 is UPS and d other is US Postal service. I would like to see the price difference and the time it takes to reach my door before i make the decision. I'm just afraid that if i choose the postal service, my player might reach my door in 3-4 seperate pieces cry.gif

Can anyone advice me, if Digital Connection were to ship out mt stuff, would they wrap it nicely before sending it out or they would just send out the whole box as it is?

Thanks

SONY BDP-S5000ES !

and connect to SONY STR DA5400ES AV amp - best. Anyone got one of those? But SONY Malaysia don't bring in their ES range anymore - small market here, so they only cater for the mass market lower range products, sigh...... Wonder if one can get those in Spore?

Dune has just issued a big firmware....with new Sigma SDK f/w....it solved all the BD compatibilities problem and the networking/streaming problems before...thumbup.gif

Just upgrade it last night...load a bit faster too and with auto framerate, it automatically plays the source refresh rate i.e. those 24Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz, without the need to manually select it.
