BD live to me is a nice to have feature... but still, to me BD is all about the movie itself... & based on our slowmyx internet speed, i must admit that i tried only once BD live for transformers last yr and since then has always turned BD-Live off because I can't stand the loading speed tongue.gif

so is it important?? to me... absolutely NOT!!

I never connect my BDP to the internet. If your internet is bad, some discs will load very slowly because it's trying to connect to the internet first. Turn off internet, the disc will bypass internet checking so it will load faster.

I only connect to update the firmware when there's a new version available.

Its Seems so too to me,,, its just that my ego ( haha my other Side) say better to get one with BD-live
so really...then BD-live is really not of importance... Sales gimmick on this feature,

so if that's the case and can consider between BD-60 & 51FD then,
New firmware upgrade as i anticipated earlier on ... Now support conversion hi-def signals to 7.1 multiout

http://pioneerusa.com/ephox/StaticFiles/PU...story090610.TXT

at the fair Desa was quoting RM1800 FOC 2 BRD + HDMI for the 51FD
well maybe now could be cheaper, cos i really see plenty stocks piling up then biggrin.gif

Added on August 10, 2009, 11:14 amanyone has Desa Website???

Thanks
