theres a fact tat contradicts with the fact in the 1st page....sum breeder said dat if the syrian grows up together (siblings) they can be house to 2gether? so ....izit true? or its never true.......my syrian nvr bites and very tamed....

After few month,their solitary instinct will show up.Better caution 1st then regret later dude.

i think that info about syrian is a solitary creature has been debated for several times.
the conclusion is that syrian is solitary even it's lived with sibling or not.

everybody can be a breeder anyway.

The pet shop where i bought my hammie from told me that, WW is more aggressive than Syrian and Syrian should be caged in a pair and WW should be 1 in each cage

C'mon, this tauke doesn't even do his homework before opening a pet shop, his wife is even worse, knows nothing at all...

Alex Farm..... I have seen before. The brand is so so only.... same quality with Habitrail. LM Farms is much better.

He or she would have read about the info on the internet, studied the nutrition, housing, done some experimental keeping and also done researched breeding.

Anyone can be a breeder. I can ask my cousin who is 6 years old to keep 1 male and 1 female, and if they got babies, I can call him breeder as well..... alot of people make this mistake of trusting LYN sellers.... many are doing it for business, not a hobby. Only a few I see do it as a hobby and they give the best to their hamsters.

He is not a proper hamster breeder. Compare him to Reanne, Nezumitaro, Jayniel or me... I would say his knowledge is the same with pet shop.... I wouldn't say he is famous coz what I have heard about his sales of sugar gliders.... I would never trust him.

yup, agree with you.
that's why is hard to get proper information about hamster.
coz someone who just mass breed the hamsters without proper knowledge mostly give false information to new hamster owner. sometimes information in the internet also can be misleading.

if i want to trust any breeder, i'll trust Hun,Reanne,and Nezu.
(why all good pet owners mostly girls?) lol

Yah, sometimes the info from the Net can be a bit off.... so that is why we gotta do some experimental keeping. Like in most caresheets, they would say cages are the best because of the ventilation. I would say the best is having a tank coz that would stop the hamster from chewing the metal bars.... about fresh food, in books and on some caresheets, they mention not to feed everyday because it would lead to wet tail. But from Nezu's own research and experimental feedings, it is better to give fresh food everyday.

Hahaha... girls.... maybe coz guys more into other things? Maybe coz too much reading hahah... dunno lah. I'm the only one who likes hamsters among my siblings. I got 2 brothers mah.

Best is to get to know a breeder who has knowledge from experience and also from reading. I'm doing that for sugar gliders, so that is why I have a blog on glider keeping. Suitable keeping for Malaysians heheheh....

Chipsi usually cost around 8.50-10.00. In Pasar Minggu Kuching, they sold it at rm5.00. Now they have no more stock.

At Pasar Pudu here selling CHipsi Green Appel ler,i cancel lor coz its bad for hammy...

Penang mainland is worse, every single shop here is selling either Chipsi Green Apple or Vitakraft Kleintier Streu, or even Living World...

All these bedding is made from PINE and i have no choice but to order from PetShack online...

Although i know Penang island got sell, but i could save fuel and toll by ordering it online...

Hmm.. sick ar.. My hamsters rarely sick.. so i don't really know what to do if they get sick.. but there's 1 time one of my male hamster all of a sudden get wet tail.. and he died in the next morning..
