I've said it many times before and I will say it again, to date all cards are manufactured by one company appointed by ATI. Not sure bout HD4850 but the HD4870 uses the Qmonda GDDR5. QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 18 2008, 04:38 PM) i think the RAM used is difference, this is where cheap RAM and quality RAM comes into play. Added on July 18, 2008, 4:40 pm2 x 4850 in CF mode can destroy the 280 already...and you still have money left for 1 more 4850. Nothing to tok liao...overpriced and under performed.

ATI HD4k also can do Havok acceleration ATi says that they will not run Havok on GPU for time being...since Havok can be calculate using CPU well enough they will enable Havok on gpu when they feel to sos? i read from fudzilla/theInq

QUOTE(Demonic Wrath @ Jul 18 2008, 05:12 PM) Yea, in some games.. But I think there'll be users that like single GPU configurations too.. Yup, after looking at Crysis, everytime I look at other games I get the-game-is-so-dated feeling.. But for some reason I still can withstand Diablo 2 and StarCraft's graphic haha..Enjoy playing both of them..especially when playing multiplayer. Its true, but if it has an excellent story, it sure beats graphics. Have you guys tried Indigo Prophecy?? Its from the producers who are making Heavy Rain for the PS3. Its a story suspense game, but it plays like interactive movie...man, its nerve racking. Game came out in 2005, don't know how I missed out on it, so I'm playing it now.
