Hopefully you guys words are not biased/fanboyish tongue.gif. I'm no fanboy of ATi or NVidia nor i am fanboy of Intel/AMD.

As long as a product is best bang for buck performance ratio and don't have much huge drawbacks, i'm all for it tongue.gif. And thank you all so much for the insights. Btw, can HD4850 play crysis on at least high settings at 1680x1050?  smile.gif

@skylinegtr34rule4life
So when you gonna upgrade to 4850 or 4870? tongue.gif

I'm playing crysis on my 4850 ~25-27 FPS (avg) 1680x1050 high setting, no AA. I posted my stats a few pages back.

far cry 2 arent the same developer as crysis, crysis one never optimize their engine to run well unlike unreal 3 engine, where it is just perfect with great graphics and great fps.

4000 series is manufactured under 55nm TSMC manufacturing process.
5000 series is manufactured under 40nm TSMC manufacturing process, hopefully bundled with Direct X 11.0 support!

DX10 and 10.1 have only been around for 2 years, so fast DX11 already?
most of the games do not even utilize the full power of DX10

it's nothing regarding the 5 series. there's another thread also on the 4 series discussion, so no need so many threads discussing the same stuff.
