As I've stated before, the 4850 will run on the Coolermaster eXtreme 500 watt. I've used it before so I should know. Not sure about the 4870 though.

QUOTE(ganaz-x @ Jul 10 2008, 01:31 AM) My guess is can if you run on minimal peripherals. But once u start adding stuffs (fans, drives, etc) then it will become unstable and your system will shutdown or reboot. omg.... need to buy psu again... heres my setting... 2 x 120mm fan 1 x DVD ROM 1 x DVDRW 2 x HDD 1 x 8800GT 1 x Q9450 no ccfl or neon light... currently running smooth la.. but wonder can run 4870 or not |

Sure we've seen the list. So the coolermaster 500watt is not listed but that doesn't mean it can't run the 4850 smoothly rite?

i'm thinking to get 4850, but sometimes I think why don't I jump a bit more to 4870, but I'm only using acbel 450 intelligent power,
need you guyz opinion, is it ok if I gamble my current psu works with 4870? if only not ok than I will change to a higher power one quite hard to let it go, bcoz it was a gift from c-zone |
