Both of the LCDs share the same panel. It's just that the stand that the V2400W is using cannot be replaced with an aftermarket stand while the stand that the G2400W is using can be replaced with an aftermarket stand. There's not much difference between these two models to justify for the RM500 difference. I would say, if you want style, get the V2400W, if you want substance, get the G2400W.
*
what about the G2400WD model? Is that an upgraded version taht they're letting this one go for RM999? Would this G2400W be considered 'old stock'. Thinking of this if there's no difference in specs for V2400W and GW2400. Or maybe wait out for the dell's that someone posted a few pages back.

if budget is not your problem.. do consider Dell Ultrasharp 2408wfp

if your lcd monitor also need to use on console such as PS3 or X360 thru hdmi.. get the Benq. when I plug in my PS3 on the Benq G2400w first time, I'm really suprise by what it offer me. beautiful is the best word to describe I guess.. : D before this.. I always never take a glance at Benq product.. coz their name sound stupid to me. www

this is why I'm getting one for another ps3 that currently in my jb home, currently i'm using it with Sony KLV-40W300A but I think the quality sucks and I need to sit very far to be playable...

edit: I'm getting another G2400W due to budget issue..coz wanna pair up with Dell 2408wfp, Benq are mainly for PS3/X360 thru hdmi use and my 2nd rig are gonna run dual monitor mode on them. I would get the V2400W if I don't have budget in mind, coz so solid looking.. even the packaging also a killer unlike the dirt cheap G2400W... www

Bought a T221W at PC Fair today...dunno which to buy, then headache already...WTH...only RM670 for 22". Sapu saja ler.

But now find there's a problem with the stand design..it tilts a bit down and forward and i've to put something underneath the stand to lift it up to be more level at 90 degree. Is this normal? Did i fix something wrong? sweat.gif

In my Benq, there's an option to set "Native" and "Full Screen". Should set to native i think.
