Haha...mayb he wan act Noob to make you laugh lerh? that selling HP product salesman very funny when yesterday i go. " Don't look that LCD! (w1907) that only 17" !! try buy 22" at there." " Buy this system(CPU) with latest graphic card GeForce 8400!" at another side also make me sad. me:" Does't this LG 1942T using DVI showing movie now?" Salesman:" hmm.. DVI? QUOTE(jiho21 @ Aug 23 2008, 04:20 AM) Thanks for sharing Matrix. I know this is not a high end product, but just wanna share.Dont flame me please Usually Viewsonic monitor comes with Opticolor Mode which let u easily select your desired mode like Text,Gaming,Cinema,Vivid and etc. There u can simply change the mode to suit your needs.Im VW2235wm user here. I bought the ViewSonic Va2226w for RM715 at Low Yat.No dead pixels(checked with software) I did compare it with BenQ,me and my friend agreed that the detail of the pixels is much clearer.(Dont know how to desribe, but it really alot different compare to BEN Q,No offence Matrix) Its really huge compare to my old classic CRT 17". Although i am not good in graphic stuff,i am very satisfy with it. The problems were the power cord is for US,so i bought a converter that cost me RM5 for it. The other problem is this is my first time using the LCD,i dont know how to adjust tthe contrast and brightness. I notice there's a very 'sharp' or 'painful' feeling whever the screen is in white colour(like now when i am replying this message.) So is this normal or i should adjust it? Any ViewSonic users here can give tips about this? The currest settting of my brightness is 90,contrast is 80. Is that too high or too low. Please advice. Thank you sany1424, I believe that LG is better comparing to ViewSonic if we compare it brand to brand. Its better to check for the ms(the lower the better) and 1:10000 ratio(the high the better). Correct me if i am wrong. emdee01, With this amount of money, i believe u can buy alot of brand out there, except for the high end like LG or Samsung. dfcloud, What about Viewsonic?Do u mind?I just bought my ViewSonic 22" at LowYat for RM715. Quality is okay.If compare to BenQ its better(compare side by side),Slightly 'poorer' compare to Samsung(personal opinion). -oc-gassa, What about giving them a call? |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Aug 28 2008, 01:01 AM) I just found this Great price from dell.RM1099 included delivery?NEW! DELL™ 24" FULL HD WIDE SCREEN FLAT PANEL MONITOR (S2409W) ONLINE PRICE RM1,099* After RM400 Instant Cash Redemption (Delivery Included) E-Value Code: R142409SWMY-WEB • Max Resolution: 1920 x 1080 • 3-Year Next Business Day Advanced Exchange* Service http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/c...dhs1&l=en&s=dhs I found a review of it here http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum...141ec3d283db411 Anyway sounds to me like the best of the best doesn't seem too important to you ? Well this is a cheap affordable TN panel Imho i would suggest you skip 19'' and go straight for either 22'' or 24'' because of the affordability after prices have dropped since last time. The main determining factor at the moment for these 2 sizes is the panel type. Cheapest to expensive is as follows TN < PVA < IPS If you can get a good PVA for slightly more then a TN, do it. You won't reget. For IPS the price spikes up much higher so you maybe not something you need since you aren't too picky like me |

QUOTE(lw4ever @ Aug 29 2008, 11:29 AM) Anyone know where I can get the latest VX62 Series LCD from ViewSonic? Try LYP's Viewnet. They are offcial viewsonic monitors sellers, but i guess they haven started to sell?http://www.ap.viewsonic.com/my/pr/show.php?id=26 Found nowhere in Low Yat and I have called to local distributors but they said they don't carry this model into Malaysia. But it's weird I saw the news from InTech The Star (http://star-techcentral.com/tech/story.asp?file=/2008/7/31/prodit/1659170&sec=prodit) and ViewSonic Brochure in All IT. |

QUOTE(dmm9394 @ Sep 8 2008, 02:12 PM) heya all, Not sure what's the bare minimum, but nowadays modern graphics card which no matter onboard or dedicated ones will actual support 1680x1050.Maybe under Geforce 2 era gua..guess only. after taking a looking at my 2232GW, my dad's thinking of getting a 22 inch monitor for himself too as his eyes cant really take the small icons on his 15 inch monitor anymore. thing is his computer is a really old Dell (like 6 years+). I hadnt been able to bring my monitor over to see if it works with his PC, but i've got a gut feeling that his old integrated graphics might not take the native resolution of a 22 inch (correct me if i'm wrong please). if yes, then what's the bare minimum graphics card that would support a 1680x1050 resolution? I might end up having to build a new CPU for him, which only would be to use simple Microsoft Office tools and for surfing the internet. thanks and hope for your feedback So have to thank to your 2232GW attraction to inspire your dad from buying a new monitor.Haha..Great! |
