Aiyo kepala pening..will be going there in 1.5 hours...

I think Benq 24" over kill for me...GPU not powerful enough, later need more upgrades...22" will be just nice.

Samsung 2253 is around RM 875 (plus minus RM20 ) from the different stall.

Is this better or 226BW better?? rclxub.gif

Kepala pening...arrggghhh...
*
i think i'll go for 2253bw lo...design nicer than 226bw la....the bottom part that is.... smile.gif

but then again...benq g2400w only 999 (+- 30) its damn tempting lo....top up like 100 for samsung's price can get 24" already.... hmm.gif

no wor didnt bargain, anyway the seller on benq booth is actually viewnet. apparently they only bringing in 30 of these 24" monitors (don't know true or not la).  anyhow the colours fine on the lcd but i notice that the white is a little bit yellowish.
*
i tried to bargain with the fellow la...the young one wearing specs....he gave me the price of 985 but i told him to let me consider the price and would return later....mana tau when i return all the stocks are out already...so i resorted to samsung 2253bw instead... biggrin.gif

BenQ g2400w no stock when I was in PC Fair,  so I bought Samsung 2253BW instead. Very happy with the monitor. Right now I am using both 2253BW (DVI) and old 17" Acer (VGA) LCD on 8800GT. Pretty fun, never have such much space before !  drool.gif
*
haha...same as me...i'm lovin it too....i'm doing dual monitor with a samsung 931bw...but it eats up alot of space.... smile.gif

QUOTE(xeratos_85 @ Aug 3 2008, 08:31 PM)
why choose that brand? can get Viewsonic 22" already below rm800.
i got mine for only rm760  tongue.gif
*
for some reason, viewsonic's lcd has been very popular with forumers here....and i've heard that viewsonic's quality cant match that of samsung's

QUOTE(reconer @ Aug 3 2008, 08:49 PM)
hi guys,

i am a computer user that uses my CRT monitor with my PC to play games, watch movie, and read wikipedia.

my question is:
1. im going to get a new LCD monitor Samsung T220/T240. Whats the difference in quality if i use HDMI or DVI from my PC to the LCD monitor?
2. i heard the quality is 'damn good'.

thanks, hope someone with experience can feedback
*
hdmi would only matter if u're hooking up a ps3 / xbox to play the games in high definition mode...or if u're watching a HD movie or blueray movie.....other than that....its the same....

and to get hdmi input...u must have at least a 24" monitor...having that said, u would need a really decent graphics card to project that kind of resolution (1920x XXX)....extra cost would inccur...

Decent graphics cards to play games at that resolution, or to play HD/Blueray movie at that resolution?
*

sure the one with typical contrast 2000:1 is better....dynamic comes into play only when u enable it and afaik, the screen will auto tune the contrast say when u're playing games and playing movies...movies screen will be darker

2nd that... the power on button hide under that clear plastic thingy, hard to reach it... i prefer the design of 226BW, a big button with blue led ring and metal feel
*
yea....if they could mod the power button like 226bw and maintain the other design (clear plastic) then it would super nice...haha tongue.gif
