really got pcfair end of year? i tot got pc fair only twice a year ?

well there are too much accumulated old stock..!! yes...
but I think economy slow down, PC fair also slow down too...
Unless the Taiwanese manufacturers really want to push the sales by special offers to the dealers and retailers..

..but the E2400HD only support the maximum resolution up to 1920x1080.

1920x1080 best for watching movies. That why it comes with HDMI.

But I want 1920X1440 24" lcd monitor. More resolution.

Ya agree with Onion-KiD, that's possibility there. khaidani, do you try to use other LCD which have HDMI port maybe u can borrow from others or using those device which have HDMI to pair with ur LCD, so u will know which item got problem. Beside using HDMI via graphic card u need the installer, do u install it with ur GC driver?

HDMI what? APPLE is already whinning about HDMI saying that it cant even transmit resolution to its 30" beyond 1080p monitors laugh.gif Display port is license free and can support higher resolution than HDMI.

me thinking PS4 and XBox 720 will have Display port for gaming beyond FULL HD - literally making Blu-ray - secondary in term of picture quality wink.gif

Saw this in their website...

""Get RM410 Instant Cash Redemption - ONLINE !

does this means the monitor will cost 400 bucks more after the promotion ends ?

since LG and Samsung 22" monitors fell below RM700 this week, i dug a little bit deeper and found these:

Despite all are listed at 22" some with 5ms and some 2ms response time, the actual LCD size and resolution vary

These infos are taken from each manufacturer's Malaysia website.

Priced below RM600,

BenQ G2110W IS NOT 22" as many of the price list in Lowyat put it.

Native resolution = 1680 x 1050
Response time = 5ms
Screen Size = 20.1"
Brightness = 250cd/m²

http://www.benq.com.my/products/LCD/?produ...=specifications

BenQ T221WA

Native resolution = 1680 x 1050
Response time = 5ms
Screen Size = 22.0"
Brightness = 300cd/m²
Does not have DVI connector.

http://www.benq.com.my/products/LCD/?produ...=specifications

Priced below RM650

LG 226WTQ listed at 22"

Native resolution = 1440 x 900
Response time = 2ms (GTG)
Screen Size = 22''
Brightness = 300cd/m²

http://my.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?actTy...2252TQ&model=14

Priced below RM700

Samsung 2253LW

Native resolution = 1680 x 1050
Response time = 5ms, 2ms (GTG)
Screen Size = 21.6''
Brightness = 300cd/m²
