mind to tell me currently which LCD in market got glossy screen??i mean for 22"....if can provide the comparison among them better still...

HP for brighter LCD
SAMSUNG for durability.
check the LCD specs too.. response time the lower the better..

HP , Fujitsu, Dell... other brand don't know ler.. very rare.
Glossy screen mostly people pick HP . famous ma.

quick question here..
my samsung lcd rosak, sending rma through the shop meaning 1month of pain and anguish.
so was thinking sending it straight to the service center in pj,
the thing is, the shop didnt write anything on the warranty card that comes with the lcd, could i just send the lcd with the receipt only..\?

when U purchased the LCD, is that they already scanned U samsung serial no. at 1st place using bar code scanner?

well, to check the price liek normal u mean?

Just show them the warranty card & receipt, they'll take care of it.
Btw, what Samsung model is that? Kinda hate Samsung phailed me once.

Read the T&C on the warranty card. IIANM u gonna need to register online at Samsung website too

1 month is still ok le,my 17" LCD no power cant open send to warranty,it's been 2 months alredi. no news yet

I tot samsung is reliable, according to some feedbacks frm here?

now i'm confused on which brand to choose in my price range.....

any LG users here? would like to get first hand comments frm them...

comments on Dell LCDs. Company bought 5 new LCDs to turn all stations in my department dual-monitor. the one on my station got 1 dead pixel damn annoying! cannot do anything cuz only 1. Its like something is sticking on your monitor and its obvious. maybe few dead pixels at one place

Added on October 14, 2008, 12:00 pmsome of the distributor veli good one. My Logitech Z680 fried within warranty period. I brought unit to the distribution and received a 1 to 1 exchange on the spot.

well, actually its quite my fault the prob occur
oh, and when i 1st bought it, already got 2 dead pixel
got 1 on 1 exchange, but for 1 week only iinm. but me already use nearly 2month

mine was nearly a year when they did the 1 to 1 exchange. They said = the circuit board was totally fried. i smell chemical in my room so no choice - they had to replace it

Oooo...i know what u mean. i'm currently having a similar problem la...at my workplace. my LCD screen, a 17incher...i accidently kena the screen with a testpen edge...so got an indent mark...luckily, no dead pixels...but the mark still there...very annoying....

so the moral of the story....get a brand which covers even a single dead pixel.... .....are there any brands that offer warranty or swaps even for a dead pixel?

If not wrong..HP got..but i not sure the model name.

the seller say between 2weeks - 1month time
